jorge-55: My surprise was, not only works great, but works with different brands too.
I have two more A/C units beside my frigidaire which is the brand I bought it to work with, I have an Article King and a Danby and this remote control works with all 3 of them and I definitely will be buying another one since I don't have a remote control for my Daby.

rich: Although all the remotes look the same they aren’t. Make sure your model number is on the list your looking at. You can find the model number on the side of your unit

Zoltán Csobay: so after reading all the positive reviews my woman agreed to get this one, but said if it doesn't work she will make me eat it! you can imagine my nervousness for those few days until I got it. so she opened the package, had put the batteries in their places, pressed a button, nothing I'm like oh my god there is no amount of ketchup that will help to digest this thing, an d then I got it in my hand pointed it to the AC unit, pressed the power button worked like a dream , apparently when my wife tried it the infrared light was blocked by the back of the loveseat in front of the AC. I had to raise it a bit, it's lovely to finally have a perfectly well working remote control for the AC, though I haven't tried the other functions(like fan only/ temp up-down/ etc)but I'm sure those would work as well. so my dinner was something else, not the remote, Thank Goodness!Go ahead, folks, order this:zocsy!

Paul S: I don't like that the batteries barely make a connection to the contacts in the battery area. I used a bit of aluminum foil to help make the contact. Other than that, it's great!
