PamPam: After ordering and trying 2 other other remotes and having to return them decided to try 1 more time , and was so excited when I put the batteries in and it worked !!!!!the only one that came with instructions.

Works for Dyson rotating fanWorks for Dyson rotating fan: I read so many mixed reviews before purchasing this remote that made me doubt purchasing it but I was at a loss because I couldn’t control the functions of my Dyson after losing the remote. I literally popped the batteries into the remote and pushed the on button to my machine and it worked instantly. No need to Bluetooth and no hastle it was crazy.

AmandaKay: I was happy to find a replacement remote that was much more affordable and reasonably priced than what the actual replacement remote for my dyson fan goes for (which is $50)
When I received the remote it worked instantly without any issues -I purchased the remote last summer when it began to get hot and i suddenly found I wanted to use the fan but I couldn’t find the remote
During the following winter I didn’t use the fan obviously meaning that I also didn’t need to use the remote
Then this summer comes along and just like last summer I go to use the fan - I grab the remote and press the power button but nothing happens -so I think the battery is out and change it - still nothing, I came back to amazon to find this listing of the product to find how I can reprogram the remote bc I was thinking maybe it somehow accidentally became disconnected over the winter ? I tried the instructions but still nothing.

I came to the conclusion that it didn’t disconnect from the fan - bc after replacing the batteries and trying to reprogram it I noticed the light wouldn’t even light up on the remote, so it just stopped working for absolutely no reason other than the fact...

memobug: Bought this as a replacement for the HP-01 remote, which I half expected to find as soon as I placed the order. Save the instructions because there’s a key sequence to configure it for your Dyson model.

No instructions on the buttons but there’s not a lot to master, more fan, less fan, heat, cool, time, oscillate, fan wide and narrow.

It’s not magnetic and it is a bit larger than the standard remote.
