wrz0170wrz0170: I searched for retaining straps for my Maui Jims and I wanted something light weight and not heavy against my neck. Here in Nevada, the sun shines brightly almost all of the time and I got tired of putting my sunglasses on my head going in and out of places and inevitably, they would fall off onto the ground. So I was looking for something that would keep my sunglasses close and accessible. I'm also an active person. I run, bike, hike and kayak, so the straps also have to keep my glasses close just in case.

That "just in case" happened. We were test driving some Kayaks on Lake Tahoe and I got into one that was twitchy. Sure enough, It rolled me right over and dumped me right out. My glasses came off my face. The Tac-Strapz did its job and kept my glasses around my neck and not floating to the bottom of the lake and out of an expensive pair of Mauis. I can't ask for anything more than that.

The strap itself is comfortable to wear. I was a little concerned in the beginning that the stiff strap would be uncomfortable. Non-issue.
