Jessica MacDonaldJessica MacDonald: You need a few tools to hang it properly into a ceiling joist. We only used 2 of the 4 lag bolts as my daughter is 90 lbs and it was strong enough. Be better to have a 2 bolt plate design that lags into a standard joist and rate the weight loading appropriately. Definitely for kids. Not comfortable for and adult. My daughter likes it though.

Amazon Customer: What an awesome treat. I don't usually write reviews due to very busy life, but feel like I owe it to the creator for this product and others to enjoy. So I have a stand & a hammock for outdoor use previously and am moving for work in New York, and would like to continue using my stand year round. Replacing the old outdoor hammock for this hammock - super soft cotton, just plain beige but tough material. I am 5'1" and 125 lbs, this suits me perfectly, just chill in it with a cup of warm tea after a long day of work. What's even better, the assembly is super easy, I did not even refer to the instructions. I appreciate the metal bar, they snapped together perfectly and they're much more durable than my old one in woods that was concern about breaking overtime. This hammock even comes with 2 pillows, saves me time to shop for additional ones. There are accessories for mounting on ceiling/beams,etc in the package, would be handy for hanging which I did not use since I have a stand. Overall , very practical product without breaking your piggy bank that I would highly recommend.

Andrea KronenbergerAndrea Kronenberger: I love to swing! It’s relaxing so I have had several hammock swings that I bought in the past that break. They have had wooden handles and a wood bar at top. It was always the thin strings that would finally give away. My Mom and husband both fell to the floor in those at different times and could have been very dangerous especially for my Mom. I seen this one and liked the sturdiness and the metal bar. Since I didn’t want to give up on swings and someone joining me, I decided to try this one. So far I love them! My husband who is a big guy (weighs about 250) sits in them just fine and feels comfortable enough he falls asleep! That’s saying something since the last one I had broke with him in it!
I highly recommend these and love the look of them also. I have them outside close to our pool but they are so cute they would look fine inside as well.

EthanEthan: I spent hours online looking through overpriced swing chairs and long story short, this one stood out for price, easy to hang, and good reviews. The reviews turned out to be true, it’s very comfortable and roomy. I’m 6’2 195 lbs and it’s very comfortable to me. The fabric feels like a recycled cotton and surprisingly holds my weight well. I did add an extra cushion for the back and it keeps the back of the chair upright and makes it look more like a chair when no one is sitting in it, but it’s still comfortable without it. I figured for the money I saved getting this chair I could get another cushion.

I’m using it inside but plan to buy another one for the front porch. I guess it would do ok in direct rain but I would think to use it in a covered area outside. I like the grey color because it doesn't show dirt. Highly recommended and I will buy it again.
