Customer#1: The swing is very comfortable and stylish. The chain and hook that it comes with is a little less than so I may purchase a different chain just for safety. The pillows are smaller and less fluffy than shown in the photos. Overall, happy with purchase for the price.

ETHaf: My daughter received this hammock chair for her birthday. She loves it!
We had to buy a separate installation kit so be prepared for that.
The fringe also comes off very easily so there is yarn on the floor regularly. That may be from her playing with the tassels though.

Lana: So I bought this as a screw-it-let’s-fix-up-the-porch Amazon purchase. I don’t regret it one bit. Even bought two! It’s super comfortable to sit in and caters to all heights, short and tall. The pillows are definitely handy because your toosh will get sore if you sit longer than two hours. I sometimes spice it up and take an extra throw pillow and blanket outside to enjoy a candle on the porch and listen to the peepers. A few things to know though; the height is extremely adjustable. I’m vertically challenged so I had to adjust a few times before I got the height right but for those blessed with long stems, you may have an easier time. Definitely make sure to double check it is in a support beam because the weight of a 150lb person is enough to knock it loose and send your body careening to the floor. And lastly, WATCH THE WEATHER FORECAST. If a thunderstorm may just so happen to pass by your area, take this down. It dang near took out my window the first time the wind got gusty. Make sure you have a place to secure the pillows as well because your neighbors might not appreciate one of them on their roof.

That’s a lot of words to just say, it’s amazing. Get it.

AshleyAshley: 3 of THE MOST important things you should know before buying this item is:

1. You NEED to be sure you have strong supports in your ceiling before hanging this swing. Sturdy support beams, strong studs, whatever the case may be, just be sure you have something that can hold your weight PLUS SOME, especially if you have a kid that would like to join you in the swing. The listing says the chair can hold up to 500 pounds, but that doesn't mean that you CEILING can hold that much. Please be safe, please be cautious!

2. The chair WILL NOT sit exactly as pictured. In the picture, it seems like the chair has some solid structure, that it will sit open and reclined without an issue. The picture is certainly a form of false advertisement. If you look at the pictures I posted, that is how your chair will REALLY sit, even with the pillows added. It is nothing more than sturdy fabric, it has no real structure, and will droop and fold in on itself. This can make it a little difficult to get into until you learn the tricks.

3. WATCH. YOUR. HEAD! Especially if someone else is resting in the swing, the support bar may sit just at head level, and if the chair actually swings or...
