WardsWards: Was missing the permanent filter and measuring spoon (almost $40 to replace those parts). It was also badly scratched and stained. Was also missing the recipe book. Described as refurbished and in excellent condition. What a lie.

R. LeBlancR. LeBlanc: We have used Keurig coffee makers for years. We used refillable K-cups to put our own freshly ground coffee in. However, it was a weekly task to empty and refill a bunch of K cups. After we saw our son's Ninja Hot and Cold Brewed System, we decided to try one. We usually brew one cup at a time, as we did with the Keurig, but we appreciate the ability of the Ninja to brew a half or full carafe when we have guests.

As the photo shows, we also have a Virtuoso Burr grinder that we keep next to the Ninja system. We keep it stacked with espresso-roasted coffee from a local coffee shop. We freshly grind just enough for a few cups of coffee, which is always fresh. We use the gold coffee filter that is easily cleaned after each use. We find the coffee from this Ninja unit to be more robust than we got from our Keurig. Brewing a single cup with the Ninja takes slightly longer than with our Keurig, but we prefer the flavor we are getting with the Ninja. We are completely satisfied with this device.

Amazon Customer: The filter compartment holds full of water after brewing complete. It over flows and put coffee grounds outside the basket and all over the brewer and counter. It's so loud also. Never owned a worst coffee pot and am stuck with it as the price I can't sell it for $30.

Garrett Keniston: This coffee maker is huge. It’s twice as big as my last coffee maker and makes half as much coffee. I enjoy some of the other features, but overall it’s still just a coffee maker. When brewing classic coffee, it will not brew a while pot, or at least I have not figured out how to yet. The quality of the coffee is fine, not quite as good as my 12 cup brewer that stopped working. The cold brew is ok, not Starbucks quality, but better than I expected. 4 stars because it could be better, but it is good.

What can it do?
1st - This combination coffee system literally does everything well. Doesn't matter what I throw at it, Every coffee comes out great. I'm impressed with its consistency. 2 TBS of your favorite medium ground flavor, for a single or large cup of joe. 3 TBS for a large travel mug...or 5 for a carafe, and every size in between. Easy and delicious. Add syrups or don't, still a great cup of coffee. Want frothed milk or cream, its got you covered. Specialty drinks, yup..it's all there.
2nd - TEA, glorious TEA. The "Over Ice" function is amazing, make a carafe in just a few minutes, fully infused and amazing. I'm in love with the pro options i now have. Ever wish you could have a great tasting lightly flavored beverage, but without so much sugar or none at all...well, the infused iced teas are awesome, and i'm in total control.
3rd - It makes every kind of coffee house coffee imaginable, as well as all the major and minor tea preparations. Just go on to youtube for recipes.
