TH: Adventuresome cat kept returning without her breakaway collars so decided to buy in bulk. She hasn't lost many of these. She has long fur but the reflectors can still be seen a bit most of the time.

Debra lenox: The only downside is the ears on the collar clip cause they might stick your cat, but I clip them off so no worries. Very Nice and durable collars. I have bought them several times. My cats are inside outside cats and lose them all the time(breakable collars) but I love the fact they are so cheap I can keep buying them.

J Edwards: My cat loses collars, a lot! I don't know how he does it. He might keep one for a month or a day. These quick release collars have a bell and inexpensive enough to keep a collar on my cat.

Huggiee: I live next to a very busy highway and bought these for the reflective stripe. The price was amazing! I had to get them used to wearing them, as my cat hasn't been wearing one since he was small. For that reason he lost it a lot climbing through things and getting it caught on stuff. After I got the size right and he got used to it he has been wearing the same collar for months! Cats have sharper nails than dogs, so when he scratches at it, the fibers come unraveled pretty easily. If I take it off when he's inside for a brief period, I just trim it up with a pair of scissors and it's good to go again! The reflective strip has held up amazingly for all of the abuse it puts up with! Overall this is a good product for the price. I love them!

Cthulhu: I just got these since we’ve moved to a different place at ground level and they have door dashed in the last place we lived in and i need to make sure the cats have their tags in case they escape and the pound doesn’t have the reader for the microchips or something so hopefully they dont get snagged because they won’t be able to breakaway
Atleast it’s staying on long enough for the cat to be hopefully found and reflective enough

JKK: I was hesitant at the cheap price but I have an indoor/outdoor cat and frankly he loses collars way too much for my wallet. I KNOW I have to keep putting breakaways on him for his safety but sometimes it is every 3 days or so! The cheapest breakaway collars I can find in stores near me are $4.50 each for the most basic.

When these came it was a nice surprise. They are GOOD. I was expecting dollar store quality maybe but no they're nice, like you'd buy in a regular pet store. The bells all had jump rings so it would be easy to remove them if desired (which I did). You can also hook a tag to the ring the bells are on if you use tags.

Others mentioned the reflective tape not lasting long: yes I agree it probably won't. Adjusting the collar to my cats' size scuffed it up a little bit, but not too bad. Over time I am certain it'll scuff up more. I can't get it to peel off yet but I'm not saying it won't. I really don't mind as long as the collar stays on.

Regarding others' concerns: the cat buckles on my set had rounded ears and weren't very "pokey" and doesn't bother my cat. I put the ears facing to his back/rather than his neck/face. I don't think he feels them....

Alex B: So cheap for this many collars! Only thing I would change is how low the bell hangs. I wish it hung higher - my cat likes to bite it and sometimes it gets stuck in his mouth and he freaks out. Only had to use one collar so far but the reflective material is starting to peel off.

Amazonkwean: The breakaway portion works well. The dark blue collar rubbed off on for there
has been no problems with other colours. Would be five stars had that not happened. I would recommend.

J: These are by far the best breakaway collars we've owned. We went through several that were just too weak on the breakaway front and would practically fall off on their own. The whole point of a collar is to hold their ID tags but if it falls off for no reason that defeats the purpose. These have much better breakaway clasps that actually stay on properly unless they need to break away, at which time they do so as expected.
The reflective strips work great. They adjust easily. The bell comes off easily (our cats hate bells). The various colours all look good. Super impressed with these. They've withstood a fair bit of scratching.
Only possible complaint is the buckles are plastic not metal, but I have never seen a metal breakaway clasp so I guess I can't complain too much. If they do manage to get the collar off (which ours did only because we had them adjusted too loosely), our cats have a tendency to play with them and chew the plastic clasp to smithereens. That said though, even subjected to that treatment, these collars held up much better than our previous ones. The plastic of the clasp is nice and thick.

Patricia: My cat is an outdoor cat and always loses her collars. So far, she hasn’t lost any of these! They’re snug but not tight and they definitely last. The one thing i have to say is that they’re not the most aesthetically pleasing...
