A. Ellis: Normally I tow an RV with a weight distribution hitch, but occasionally I need to rent a small enclosed trailer which uses a 2" ball. I towed with a half ton pickup truck and the two inch drop was close enough to keep the trailer level. Reese makes a great product. The hitch ball comes installed and tight. Just hitch up and go.
To those who never towed before, for safety purposes, please be sure to measure your hitch receiver height so you can select a hitch drop that enables you tow with the trailer level. There are lots of videos that cover this topic.
