REDMOND 8-cup Electric Food Processor and Chopper

wiw1817: Looking at the brief video, the pictures and reading the included instructions, I was expecting a bit better. Initial use to peel garlic was less than satisfactory. Some were very beat up and others did not peel after following the instructions. Also, for my need to process 500 grams or more at a time, following the provided information created a fair bit of garlic juice. On my next use, I experimented and found the sweet spot on the number of garlic cloves (12 - 15) and running for 8 - 10 seconds after cutting the root end off.

This score would have been higher if the information up front would have been better. I will say that it does clean up very nicely. This is a bonus.

Larkalo: The media could not be loaded.  Una belleza para picar carne y lo que le pongas, he picado carne, pollo, la salsa tampico del sushi que se hace con surimi, echas todos los ingredientes y picas, en 30 segundos está listo todo, no necesitas más tiempo. No se hay necesidad de que se caliente porque NO necesitas más tiempo. Antes duraba 30 minutos en hacer la salsa tampoco y ahora duro 30 segundos, la amoooooo.

T: This felt illegal to get such an amazing, and large capacity, food processor and such a competitive price!!

I use mine regularly and I’ve never had an issue with it. If you use it for a prolonged time in a single session and it gets too warm, it will go into its protective, cool down mode.

I’ve only had this happen to me once since I’ve had it and to be fair, I was running it outside of the recommended intervals. I think it’s great though to know that if it starts to get overheated it can cool itself back down and I wouldn’t have to worry about any electrical sparks lol

The star of the show is the 8cup capacity!! I can blend up all kinds, and amounts, of mixtures in this food processor and not even reach the top of the base! And did you notice the beautiful blue color and garlic peeler?! Both are awesome

Don’t hesitate to get this, you need this large, affordable food processor in your life!! It was the best deal I found compared to other stores!

Suze: I've been using this unit regularly for 8 months.

I own a big Cuisinart food processor and yet I find I'm using it less and less because I have this. I bought this because I had a mini food processor that recently broke. I buy these small-size choppers from thrift stores since they are so cheap and break really easily. But they're so useful! When I saw something similar to this food processor on YouTube, I took a chance on something new and bought it.

Pros
• The glass bowl is fantastic. Thick and sturdy. I wish the bigger, fancier food processors came with glass bowls because that's always what breaks first. Also, mostly liquid tight when using, but don't press your luck by overfilling.
• The top chopping unit is easy to store, so less kitchen clutter and smaller footprint.
• Does great at chopping: nuts, onions (no tears!), olives, carrots, etc. I also use this as a mixer for creaming together sugar and wet ingredients in recipes.
• the garlic attachment does what it says it does, but I have another method so I don't really use it.
• powerful, but not loud. That's really great. My large processor is too loud.
