Kindle Customer: I love reading about the Amish. And I love reading books by this particular author and while I did really love this one I wasn't super thrilled with the fact that it ended so quickly and good chunk of the last you know 20 pages or so was a sneak peek into another book

Semiwhatsit: The Nanny's Amish Family by Patricia Johns is a surprisingly different look at both Amish and English families. I love how it shows that God truly can redeem and bring families together.

kitten70p: I love the characters in this book and the down home Christian values and the lesson that despite our flaws and history that help us learn and grow as God's children all we really need is the love and acceptance of family and friends and to know our God's love for us and all will be well.

Michael K. Hansen: I wish it would have gone on with just an additional chapter set out 2-3 years. We want to know if Patience ends up pregnant or they end up adoptions

Tammy Moldovan: Oh this book - phew. It’s one that grabs you by the throat and does not let go of your heart until the final sentence. This is the story of Patience, an Amish woman who cannot have children who’s trying to dedicate her life to service despite her sadness. Thomas an Amish man who had a rebellious rumspringa that resulted in a child he has not seen and who’s been living godly life since. And Rue the 4 year old Englisher child whose mother has died and she is now living with an Amish father she had never met. The feelings for all of the MCs were palpable as their worlds collide and they try to fit the pieces together and make sense of the upheaval and find a god directed path forward. This was a beautiful story of love and loss and finding direction in a godly life.
