Soccer Mom: This lantern is great. Bright, lightweight, and charges fast. The two separate flashlights makes it super useful as well. I had a small customer service issue and the company responded promptly and rectified the issue. Great service. Highly recommend.

I bought this lantern in August of 2022 - at first, really enjoyed it. It has a nice range of features, the lights are bright and last for a reasonably long amount of time.

However - I packed this away back into the box after we got home from a single trip last in September - and got it back out to bring along this summer - and the main light has stopped working completely.

I have tried multiple times (with different chargers) to get the main battery recharged - and have even tried putting brand new batteries in the battery slot - with no success - the main light appears to have malfunctioned - and only the handheld, battery-powered flashlight attachments will turn on anymore.

Willing to accept that I just got a "lemon" - but hoping that a representative from the manufacturer will agree to send me a replacement.

Disappointing that I did not even get to use this a 2nd time... :(

brian jones: This is a very nice compact and fairly inexpensive lantern. For me, I needed a light source while working on the house, in the basement, under the sink, and in other such places its really hard to see what you're doing and using a traditional flashlight is difficult and hard to angle just right.

This lantern is both chargeable via cord and able to use batteries. It takes D-Batteries to power the main lantern, and the removable flashlights use several triple-As while removed. It is actually really bright, and lights up the entire piping under the sink on brightness level-1. brightness level-2 hurts my eyes a bit, but could be good outside in the dark. The flashlights are nice too, as you can see in the pictures, they act as additional lights on brightness level-2, but can be removed to focus a projected light onto something, which is useful to see something in the distance or look into a hole.

In Summary: Its compact, quite bright, durable, and not too expensive. It's a good little light of mine.

Amazon Customer: I bought one of these for myself already. It is an excellent quality lantern,so I bought the second one for a friend as a house warming gift.
It can be charged by USB or it can run on D batteries. It has the great feature of two bright flashlights that are removable and run on AA batteries.
Here in Florida with Hurricane season upon us,it is a great lantern to keep on hand for emergencies or when the power goes out.
I highly recommend!!!
