PGC: After our first daughter was born, I learned much of your life becomes battery powered for the next 6-12 months. Some things , like swings, bouncy seats, etc., are crucial. If it is 2 AM and your infant is melting down, you want to make sure the swing batteries have enough charge to get you through to the next feeding. I've been really impressed with these batteries (10k MAH). I have some 5k MAH rechargeable D cells which are fine, but the 10k MAH ones are just great. They last (shocker) much longer. And I purchased 8, so I always have 4 charged and ready to swap out if needed. Yes, they are more expensive, but at 2 AM with a screaming child (daughter #2), I'm happy I paid the extra money.

Philip P.: EDIT: 9/12/2020
I added a STAR to trh review for reason outlined below:
I contacted RayHom about my first shipment. At first I was told to take pictures of the batteries and send them. I explained that pictures would not show anything. Then I was told to ship them back for a replacent. As shipping would be a significant part of the original cost I hesitated. A few days later I got email that they were sending me another set for evaluation and testing. I got those a couple of weeks ago and proceeded to test them.
A couple of notes about my testing are in order. I first used a Powerex MC9000. It has a break in mode that duplicates the IEC method that manufacturers use to measure battery capacity. This uses 0.1C to charge for 16 hours, dicharges at 0.2C to the batteries are empty. The they recharge at 0.1C for another 16 hours. This should activate the battery and eliminate most problems that might limit capacity.
Unfortunately the MC3000 does not accommodate D cells. SO I used some adapters to measure these cells using it. Those may have influenced the tests somewhat. For instance, the tester would reject some of the cells based on high internal resistance....

Woolly Mammoth: I have made multiple purchases of these batteries. Overall, I have found them to be the best on Amazon, especially considering the price.
My second purchase of this 8-pack had at least 4 duds. By duds, I mean they didn't charge properly. They never got to full voltage. They also started to swell after the first "full" charge. It happens, I guess. It took me a few emails to make my case but in the end, the seller replaced them with batteries that worked just fine. So basically, I'd say to make sure you contact the seller with any problems.
Also, these are not 10,000 mAh batteries. I have tested them a number of times and I get somewhere between 8,800-9,400 mAh. For me that's not a bid deal because they *far* exceed the capacity of other "10,000 mAh batteries" sold here.
So, two dings, and still 5 stars? YES! In spite of the problems, they work great and I trust them. Good products overall, and backed up my the seller. Really, that's all you can ask for.

osage4207: I ordered 8 D cells. They arrived uncharged. I charged them overnight, green lights showing on all batteries; put them in a flashlight and the light beam was so weak as to be unusable. Disappointed. Will never buy Rayhom batteries again.
6 Jan 2019: I have used these batteries daily for the last 2.5 weeks and in fairness to RayHom my initial review must be changed. Today I am recharging the batteries...for the first time since the initial charge. The batteries did arrive uncharged, but they did charge without any problem...and while the D cells don't light up my flashlight very well, they do power the LED light in the shower just fine and they have been used every morning for 2.5 weeks. This morning the output started to drop so today I put them in the charger. We'll see what happens.
20 February 2019: I have recharged these D cells several times and they do continue to give good power. My initial review: "Weak battery," was too hasty. I have not used the AA's as much but, I have put a meter on them after 8 weeks and they still have an excellent voltage remaining. I would not hesitate to buy these again.

RUnger: I purchased 16 of these for my ring sensors outside. I replaced 6 in 2020 and another 4 in 2021, most of them won't charge and pull an error. Disappointed that these aren't lasting for many charges. Now product isn't offered anymore, trying to find new replacements again.
