Tom: There Batteries, D size, and 1.5 volts, how much more to share. I purchased these for the cat feeder also reviewed (although I only needed 3) and they held up for the week we needed it. I did not measure voltage post use, but since they worked for what I needed, I'm good. Yeah batteries are getting expensive, but since I knew my cats would chew on the power cord, batteries were the better choice. I have not needed customer service so can't comment on that, but would not hesitate to buy this brand, from this seller again

JOHN THOMPSON: PUT THESE IN MY SPINNERS ON THE PORCH . SO FAR THEY'VE LASTED 3 WEEKS 24/7 COULDN'T BELEIVE THEY LAST THAT LONG AND HOW MUCH LONGER GREAT BATTERIES . THOSE CHEAP BATTERIES LAST 2 DAYS . WHAT A DIFFERENCE . JOHN

DFV: I only needed 2. If I needed more, I would have opted for Amazon Basics. But I don't need to have that may D batteries laying around forever. These have run a fridge fan in my RV for days in a row without needing to be changed.

Kathleen Marshall: Got these for my desk-side fan, and for the price, I expected better. Rayovac used to be my Go To Batteries, but not any longer, as they were completely dead after 4 Hours of use. So, save a few bucks and get the Harbor Freight brand of batteries as they last longer with little fall-off!

Mr. E.: I just put in these brand new batteries, received a day ago, and they barely made any difference in the flashlight with batteries that had been in there for 4 years. The flashlight was for emergencies so it was a shelf-life drain on the batteries. I don't know if these are duds, or if they were replaced in the package (because I found the package had been sliced open a couple of inches on one side. I'll see how their customer support handles this issue.

David A.: In the past I steered away from this brand however I tried them again as this is newer technology and well we are amazed. They last long, I can't say the exact same as let's say Duracell but I believe they would be neck to neck in a race. I recommend these batteries and save a few dollars

Henry Gildersleeve: Used these for my field radio. They last longer than energizers, but they die faster when they go, by a small margin. They have good run time and have better construction, according to leak safety tests I have read. All in all a great battery with a cool red top. Not being made in China is a plus these days as well, supporting North American industry is good for all of us. I will buy these D cells from now on and I go through quite a few in a year. Good job Rayovac! I never thought I would switch from Energizer. Oh ya and the voltage was a tad higher on the ray o vacs. Don't be scared to try these, you won't regret it. Rayovac finally has a superior battery.

Chuck: Tested all batteries with 2 different volt meters. All readings were 6.3v which is higher than all other D size alkaline I've tested.Will update this review at a later date after they've been used.
