I’ve made 4 or 4 holes and it’s still cutting like new. Use some type of cutting fluid or oil, and it should last a long time

Parker B.: Took a chance on a cheap bit and bought this to install a sink. I ran this through a very thick comercial stainless countertop and had no issues even with the material causing some wrist breaking drill action. the teeth stayed on and it looks as good as new after.
Make sure you use cutting fluid or some lubricant while using it!

jsemmett: Yes, this hole saw is not meant for masonry, but it was the exact size I needed, it arrived in one day, and it is cheap. It began cutting nicely through the first concrete block, then stopped -- the center drill had lost its edge as you would expect. But with the center drill removed, the hole saw itself soldiered on and then made quick work of a second block. Job done. This is a great hole saw; all it needs is a tougher center drill.

Hoopa_93Hoopa_93: So let's talk about holes. I haven't had much experience with hole saws in the past, so I was understandingly apprehensive when looking for something to bore a 90 mm hole through the exterior wall of my house to install a Mini Split air conditioner. The preconception with tools is typically the cheaper they are, the lower the quality. I felt like these saws were mid-range as far as price was concerned, but I worried a bit after reading other reviews. Even so, I gave it shot and figured the price was low enough to take the risk.
I was blown away. Between this and the other two items, a diamond grit coring saw and a corresponding arbor adapter, I was able to, albeit slowly, cut through 1/4 inch plaster, 1/4 inch wood lath, 1/2 inch wood (with a nail on the cut line), and 1/4 inch exterior stucco with embedded wire reinforcement with no loss of grit or tooth. This saw also handles sheetrock without a problem.
*Important note: other reviews had mentioned teeth breaking off too soon. I am happy to report that I didn't lose any teeth from this saw, even in spite of hitting a nail that was embedded in the wood on my saw line. If you take it slow, you should be...

Palmetto StatePalmetto State: Needed a two and a half inch hole in my thin metal siding for passing electrical cables. Like the metal roof stuff. I put one of my cheap hole saws on it and all It created was smoke, disappointment and fear. Then I found this thing and had my doubts. I waited a few days after it arrived dreading my revisit to this project. But to my amazement, after only a few revolutions on the drill I could already see it cutting like butter. This thing saved me so much frustration.
