Danielle Gardlin: I mixed this with coffee and got a lot of compliments on the color. Covered up the couple grays I had, made my hair super soft, and looked great

Jen Nadeau: great vibrant red over my daughters light brown hair! Messy like all henna but fun if you are in the right frame of mind! Henna naturally has a very grassy smell, which is not exactly pleasant, but I like it! The scent fades in a day or two, or at most after your first shampoo.

Mr. E.Mr. E.: If your hair is very light in color-go with strawberry blonde-not red! (Unless you want a dark brown/red? Ive not tried that one) I think I did strawberry blonde YEARS ago when my hair was lighter and LOVED it although it was Deep red... not what I would consider strawberry blonde. At the time I was mistaken for strawberry blonde already in certain lighting then afterwards it was Really Red for a week or two. Now my natural hair is more dishwater blonde with a few grays and I chose Red. Color took well but... its not really red. I left it in for 3 hours instead of 2 because repairs were needed in bathroom (I think last time I left it in overnight) and my hair is ORANGE! Thankfully I know after a few washes it will tone it down a lot. This stuff fades out most of it the first week then realllllly gradually over the next month or so.

Grimalkin: I am 73 y/o & have used henna since I was about 25 y/o. Through all those years, my favorite brand & color was Hennalucent Sunset Glo. It was inexpensive, smelled *great*(!), was ultra easy & simple (just add very hot/near boiling tap water), & was very quick (just 45-60 minutes, no 10-12 hour mixing or wearing processes!), & it was very long lasting. Best of all, it made my hair super shiny & strong, & was always dependable with BEAUTIFUL results. Even my hairdressers always complimented me on the natural looking color & healthy condition of my mid-back to waist length hair. Sadly, however, Hennalucent was discontinued about 10-12 yrs ago by the maker.

Since then I've used several different brands in various shade variations of Red. Some were just way, WAY too red (think circus clown wig red), some brands just didn't last long enough & seemed to take longer to mix & apply than the amount of time the color lasted on my hair. Several brands were WAY to gritty, smelled bad, or required way too many steps & additional ingredients to work correctly. Some seemed to dry my hair out & leave it in worse condition rather than...

Tanna Hall: I was addicted to the rouge henna from Lush and about a year ago they changed their formula and it was complete garbage(they have since switched back to the original recipe because of the backlash from fans) so I was in a hunt for a henna that gave me similar results and this stuff is great! I have tried the copper and the red! Copper gave more of a orangey hue and the red is bright and vibrant! I did miss the added moisturizing ingredients that Lush adds so I mixed this powder with a can of coconut milk and it’s perfect! Plus it is actually was less messy than the lush version I had been using for 5 years so this may be my new favorite overall!Plus the price point is pretty cheap! I have medium/ long length although my hair is pretty thin but I easily get to uses out of This jar! And compared to the $31 dollar price point for lush (also two uses) that’s great! If you are new to henna a few tips: never use metal to mix your henna whether it be a spoon or mixing bowl, metal can change the composition of the henna! Be sure to prep with lots of paper towels! Line your hairline with Vaseline or something similar if you want to avoid stains! Always use gloves! And be sure that the...
