Warren: The media could not be loaded.  This was my first drone, the instructions are a bit intimidating because flying a drone is significantly more complicated than driving a toy car. However, my first flight went well as the drone was flown in the house. After charging the batteries, and folding open the drone and attaching the guards, and reading the instructions multiple times, I flew successfully on my first flight.
Flying is pretty easy once I understood the basic functions. To start it, the drone is powered up with the button on the drone. The remote is switched on, the left controller is pressed up and then down. The drone is ready to launch. Starting out, it's important to know that the headlights should face away from you. Then push the left controller up and watch the drone rise. The right controller is then used to move the drone forward, left, right or back. It's that simple. To make it rise more, press the left controller up, and to reduce altitude, press it down. Rotation of the entire drone is done with the left joystick to the left to go left or right to go right. The batteries didn't need much charging before first use and the drone itself doesn't become unstable when the battery is running low like others that I've had experience with.
The box includes everything you need to get started along with additional batteries, blades, charger and even gaurds for your drone propellers just in case you aren't the most experienced drone pilot.
You can pack everything up in the carrying case that is included with your purchase. The picture quality of the drone camera is great and for the price, even better. First person view on your mobile device allows you to see from the perspective of your drone.
The controls are pretty intuitive and straightforward; you will have the drone up and running within minutes.
Also, let me tell you, this sturdy little thing can withstand some hits and it's light enough to not take on any significant impact damage.
Overall great drone, great price, great for learning and fun for everyone.
I would absolutely recommend this product.

Natalie P.: This is a great little drone. We bought it for our 7 year old and he manipulates is easily. It's not great in strong winds, but I imagine that's the case for most drones. Easy to use and a MUST buy for beginners, especially children. My husband is also very keen on it but I've reminded him he needs to share with the child that the present was intended for!!! :)
