Marty A.: I was so excited to get this set of professional knives I could hardly wait to open them once Amazon left them on my front porch. I am recently retired and spending a lot more time in the kitchen cooking. I decided I wanted to start investing in some really good cookware and knives. Being retired, cost has to be a consideration. When I opened this box and picked up the largest knife my first thought was 'Boy, is THIS going back!!' It's SO light and the blades are too flexible. I left them sitting on my kitchen counter until the next day when I was carving up a raw pork shoulder into individual servings and I thought: Self, why not give those knives a test run before you send them back? After all, there were so many 5 star ratings by reviewers. I had been using my recently sharpened carbon steel chef's knife (which has some weight to it) which was doing a pretty good job and I didn't think the new RADA knives could possibly compete.

That said the packaging is a label stuck on the gift box itself so in order to open it the box had to have adhesive pulled off of it, which means the box gets damaged and now got the find a different box to use.
Also delivery said next day, which apparently translates to 53 hours.
So happy with the knives, but unhappy with shipping and delivery.
Getting rid of Amazon Prime, going back to other sources. Took exactly 4 days for me to decide I will take my business elsewhere.
