RoShaw: Use these to start campfire even when wood is damp. Only have to use half of a puck. But after realizing that saving a half puck is a hassle, I just use a whole now.

Pamela: I bought these twice they are great. You can cut them into four pieces and they will last a lot longer. A quarter of a disk is enough to boil water it lasted me about 20 mins. I have an Emberlit stove and a pocket stove so depending on which stove I use as to how much of the disk I need. Anyway they are a great product to have a round for camping or SHTF. I haven't smelled any Oder from them so they work well for heating water or cooking food.
