I was surprised how small this was when it arrived, however, we plugged it in, but forgot about it and left it on over night on our patio. My, oh my! It did quite a job over night !!! It attracted so many night time bugs! My husband and I had to pick up our mouths from the floor!!! We live in the Mountain where the bugs love the fly, so yes, I can attest, this little zapper lives up to it's name!!

Where we sit outside in our so called screened pool area, gnats and skeeters still sneak in. I keep this charged via USB during the day and ready for each evening when we sit outside. When I go to bed, I leave it on overnight on the table to keep the gnat and mosquito population down. In the mornings, it is FULL of dead bugs!!!!! Works great!!!

I live in Florida and expected little but I am happy to confirm that this works well when left on overnight and plugged in. Its quiet and does not seem to do much but it actually did kill a range of small mosquitos, big mosquitos, moths and other small gnats. I noticed mosquitos will ignore the trap and go straight to humans when both are present so I rated 4 instead of 5 stars. When left in a room that is empty this zapper seems to give mosquitos an obvious next best option that is their last. Adding a chemical attractant would likely put this zapper in a 5 star category but in the meantime it is worth the price.

This thing finally killed its first mosquito-- when I picked it up and used it to smash little monster. Otherwise, this is just a purple light. Seriously-- I'm plagued with one or two mosquitos making their way into my house. When they do, they chew on me for days. This ... whatever it is.... does nothing to attract and/or kill the damn things. So I can honestly say this does not attract mosquitos, and I can only assume the electric grill works, because I've not seen it in action. Therefore, unless the mosquito wanders aimlessly into it's jaws of death... it's nothing more than a purple light.

This is first time I am writing a review fir this product. I switched it on and with a spark it went off and never turned on.
I am extremely disappointed with this product.
I will not recommend it to anyone.
We waited for it to arrive for our newborn baby now I have look for something better than this product.
Please do not buy it, very disappointing item.
