It takes a second or two to reset itself after turning it on, which is perfect. You can put any dish on it and it'll zero itself out, allowing you to measure contents precisely.
Changes between lbs and kgs and more with the touch of a button.
Only downside is the LCD display, which isn't easily readable from an angle. Not something to take off a star for. (Plus that probably means that the batteries will last longer.)
