anne taylor: Needed some bearing caps for my boat trailer when I discovered one had fallen off. These were the ticket. Nice tight fit and feel like they will not fall off. Bonus - I get an extra set for next time. Great value for the money, these are very nice dust caps. Makes my trailer look better too!

ToolNut: I tried to carefully knock these into my trailer drums, but they were oversized enough to make getting them installed pretty difficult.

Luckily I'm a hobby fabricator, so I found a piece of pipe to cut along the length to resize it down so it just slipped over the cap. I welded some flat bar I had on the other end - and was able to seat the new caps.

They do make an installer for these, that can be had on ebay and other trailer parts sites. But its another $20+ bucks and a few days to wait for them to come in.

cencaliguy: Bought to replace the old leaky ones on a 5600lb travel trailer, they looked the same size and are solid built(I matched these up to mine by the letter imprints on rubber seal),
I started by trying to lightly tap one on w rubber mallet to get it started but this did`nt work and got fustrating quick because the caps are about the same size diameter as the space its going into.

So what I did is take some needle nose pliers and very slightly bent-in the end lip working my way all the way around.
I then re-tried, it was still tight but went on along with the rest of the axle caps tight.
If trying this method just be careful not to bend the ends too much
