Vianey GarciaVianey Garcia: My vehicle is a 2012 Tahoe Z71 with 18 inch rims. I have an original and this aftermarket center cap. I noticed that the genuine cap bowtie has some sparkle as where the aftermarket is more shiny or reflective. The black part around the bowtie looks slightly textured on the genuine and the aftermarket has a smooth glossy look. The polished metal areas look lore polished on the genuine cap and the aftermarket has a slightly duller finish (but it’s hard to notice). I honestly prefer the finish of the aftermarket because the genuine seems a bit too polished for my wheels and they stand out more in that sense. As for the 5 grey or silver plastic grooves going around, the genuine is a bit more sparkly than the aftermarket.
On the rear of the cap of the aftermarket there is nothing to indicate which way the valve stem should be. But I have photos to help. Something you can also remember is that the side that is covered by the tab is opposite of the tire valve.

Kelly: Was as described and came on time. Was a nice tight fit on the rim. Still trying to figure out how the original one came off. Must have been when I got new tires and tech didn’t secure them properly. This one will not come off without a lot of pressure to get off.
