Duke M: This is more of a 4.5 / 5 review.

Setup was easy -- I initially did not do banana plug connections but will do so when I have more time. I currently have this receiver hooked up to a pair of Kanto YU 5.25" passive speakers, with my PC connected via AUX and my iPhone connected via bluetooth. The sound quality is very good, I have no complaints so far with the podcasts and radio stations I have listened to so far. My only complaint is with the remote control which apparently does not power on the system. It's a minor inconvenience as I will be using this receiver primarily at my desk.

After one day of use, the remote seems to be the only issue I have with it. I would recommend this to someone who wants to use an external amplifier for their desktop PC with some passive bookshelf speakers.

Dr Harvey L Bumpers: This receiver amplifier was very easy to hook up and use the controls. I have speaker on my first floor that include two ceiling speakers in each room: office, open family/dining room, and sunroom. These are all powered effortlessly with this receiver. Sound is clear and loud with FM radio. Furthermore. I also have a TV output connected to it and I can easily move being the devices for overhead sound. The receiver is small and fits well on a small table. I have not yet used the blue tooth of mic for karaoke. I love this receiver/amplifier. Great buy

Mark on F.I.R.E.Mark on F.I.R.E.: I would place my audiophile status at about a “7” from 1-10. I want great sound but not outstanding, and at $80, this fits the bill. I don’t get how people rate this low on sound, unless they use subpar wiring and speakers. With my Bose, this fits the bill perfectly with 300w.

Two criticisms. 1. As an Apple user it would have been convenient to include Airplay, or at least a version option, even if it added $50 - $100 to the price. That’s just me. 2. Out of the box fell two registration cards wanting you to register with promises of a gift and 3 added months warranty. Throw these away — they go nowhere both on the QR code (to Messenger that doesn’t do anything), not the address (Page Not Found). I created an account at PyleUSA.com thinking that would lead me to registration. Nope. So I sent my product info via the contact page, hope that gets me my promised gifts. The registration issues knocked one star off…

WHB: We have a record collection from many years back. I have a turntable (AT) with a pre amp and needed an amp to drive my passive speakers (small). I looked at Plye, Moukey and Fosi. All seemed to be comparable, price point and features. I just liked the Plye PDA69BU. It has a aux input, CD & DVD. It has more power (300w) than I need and more features than I may use. But I liked option of having the additional functionality.

The unit comes with a remote, however, the remote is only functional when you are in Bluetooth, FM, USB\SD mode. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to control the volume while in AUX.

Set up was easy. Sound quality is very good for the size and price point. I have not set up the Bluetooth. I would recommend this unit.

Tbubba: I have bought four or five of this type of amplifier over the last dozen years. Some were ok, some not so much. This amplifier (PDA29BU.5) is, without question, the best of all I have owned. I use it to power two three-way bookshelf speakers that are part of my patio/cottage sound system. This amp is a clean and more than capable power source for my needs. The price point per quality is excellent. I am impressed so much that I am seriously contemplating getting another in case it becomes unavailable.

Charlie Ross: Purchase this Pyle amplifier to replace an old Sony CD player for my outdoor speakers. I wanted a device that could take an Aux in, Radion FM and streaming capability. Well, the Pyle PDA29BU did the trick. Setup was simple and its now connected with Bluetooth to my Amazon cube, a Bose CD player and FM radio antenna connected to my 4 outdoor speakers.
I recently used it for a large outdoor graduation party, and it worked flawlessly. As some others have said it does run a little hot, but it doesn't seem to affect the amp in any way. The FM tuner is just what I was looking for to listen to my favorite 101.5 and what a joy it is streaming all kinds of music from my iPhone.
If I have one complaint is that when you turn on the amp it defaults to AUX. It would be nice if on power up it would be on the mode last used. I have the amp connected to a smart switch so it would be nice to just turn on the amp and start streaming from my phone without ever having to enter the shed where the amp is located. The amps remote control is rather useless for this purpose, and I use the remote for changing the FM station.
All in All, great device, great purchase and reasonable price.

Tiene 2 salidas de bocinas, asi que conecté un par de bocinas conectadas en serie entre sí, a cada salida. El BT muy util lara pasar el sonido de la TV al amplificador. Muy buen precio para la calidad del producto.

Robert: This unit was delivered successfully in working condition. Bluetooth pairing was a breeze. FM reception is acceptable. I was planning on using this as a computer stereo, however, after setting it up I could not accept the sound it produced. I paired it with several sets of speakers. Jamo 6 ohm, Sony 8 ohm, Klipsch 8 ohm, SLS 4 ohm. All bookshelf speakers. I am not an audiophile so I am unable to describe the exact issues. The best way I can describe the sound is tinny. There is bass and treble adjustment. But no matter of adjustment will make it tolerable. There is a constant buzz or hiss no matter the volume. If you're looking for a halfway decent sound I would look elsewhere. If you're looking for a cheap garage stereo and are on a tight budget then I can recommend this unit. It is a cheap product with a cheap price. You get what you pay for. I will give it 4 stars because it did everything they said it would. Good thing they did not say it sounds good.
