It took a second to properly fit the harness for my 2 yr old cat. Finally got it right, although she occasionally manages to slip her arm out. Overall I like it and it works well for my cat.

I purchased this a few months ago, but it didn't fit my kitten as she was still not fully grown. She is now fully grown and this harness still will not fit even at smallest adjustments. The neck is so large that she keeps getting her front legs stuck. The quality seems good and it's nice looking design, just doesn't fit my cat. Maybe once she's big and fat one day lol

For reference, my cat is nearly 18 yrs old, 6.5 pounds, and is losing muscle mass, so she's pretty weak. She wants to go outside, but since we live near a highway, I don't want her to to venture out that far on her own, SO I bought this. At it's smallest (it is adjustable in two places on the back), it fits her well. She doesn't love it, but she tolerates it to get to go outdoors. She is able to pull out the retractable leash, but it takes some effort for her, SO (a feature I like about this product) I release the whole leash and lock it, so she can mosey about, dragging the whole thing behind her. With that, I can always see where she is, since it is bright pink, and she can't make a quick getaway. And, when she goes somewhere I don't want her (like under the neighbor's house) or I need to go back in before she's ready, I can guide her back to me by releasing the lock on the leash. It does retract very fast on its own, which is good in an emergency situation, but you can slow it down by pinching it softly between your fingers, which is what I do to not knock over my old girl.
