Barnabus T. O'Reilly: I've been crocheting for over twenty years, and in that time have used all of the usual metal hooks, some ergonomic, and some of which I really liked. Of late, I've been struggling with hand fatigue when crocheting, so I thought I would give these hooks a try.

I was initially worried that the shape and feel would markedly disrupt my work flow, but quickly I was stitching away with my usual speed. I find the size and shape of the handle encourages me to not grip the hook to death (like I usually do), and I also find myself working farther down the hook instead of scrunching everything up near the throat. Instead of having to pause every few minutes, I can crochet longer with more comfort.

Very worth it to have the right tools.

Paisley girl: I had bought one from the store to try. I decided after using it on the blanket I was working on that I had to have the set. They appearance is very nice, pretty, and the ease of the ergonomic handles is the best feature. They are easy to grip, and they work so smoothly through the halo colorama yarn.

J Marie: I like everything about these crochet hooks!!! I have crocheted for many years now and have amassed lots of hooks. I really didn't think I needed any more until I tried a Prym hook. I crocheted much faster and easier with much less hand fatigue. I now have all the sizes of these hooks that I am aware of. I only use one of my old hooks when I don't have the right size in my Prym hooks collection. Well worth giving them a try in my opinion!

QueenyB: I’ve never tried Prym hook before and these work great! Comfy, smooth, in-line hooks for large yarn. My only complaint is that They don’t have the mm size printed on the hook - only the letter. This doesn’t work for many regions around the world with different size systems. I would buy again.

Kindle Customer: I love these hooks, they are great to use. Due to their shape I have switched to pencil grip while using them when I normally use knife grip. I am nearly finished making a bulky cardigan with one of these hooks and so far its going great.

Unfortunately they were sent in a satchel with no padding, so the box was completely ruined - they would have not been suitable for gifting. Thankfully the hooks themselves were somehow unbroken despite the poor packaging and rough treatment in transit.

Leslie: I bought one of these hooks for a friend, and she said she really liked how it "handled." So when I saw the deal on a set, I decided to get some and try for myself. It took me a lot of years to go from aluminum and steel hooks to the ones with larger and sometimes "squishy" handles. But now that I'm older, those features do allow me to work longer than when I'm using an old school hook. The Prym design does give you the larger handle to hold onto, but the entire thing is plastic, so it's not squishy at all. I'm finding that I kind of miss that, and it may be my imagination, but it seems that the yarn isn't sliding as smoothly over the plastic as it does over aluminum. It's also very hard to read the sizes because, while embossed so they don't rub off (a HUGE plus), they're the same color as the handle. I have to get out the flashlight to see which one I need. Overall, they're a decent set of hooks, and if you're a beginner who is using these as your first hooks, you won't know any different and they'll be great. It's just hard to teach an old crocheting dog new tricks sometimes.

Angie Wolverton: I love these hooks. They're comfortable to hold and easy to work with. The head is pointy enough to get into tight stitches but not so much that they split the yarn. I don't typically like plastic hooks but these feel good and the yarn doesn't grip them. I typically use Tulip Etimo hooks and these are comparably good.
