shell: Fits perfectly on my firepit the drawstring around the bottom is difficult to pull tight but the addition of the straps to attach the cover to the legs should help to keep it in place. The material feels sturdy and will hopefully be fully waterproof

As a fire pit cover it will do the job perfectly.

Homaira Badr: Our fire pit is 39” and this fits perfectly. The material is strong, withstands wind and heavy rain. The elastic fits tightly around our fire pit and I love that I don’t have to tighten a string to keep the cover on.

Jessica FJessica F: This cover is perfect for our outdoor gas fire pit. As you can see a small pool of water formed and froze (it's 25 degrees here right now) on top of the cover which proves it's waterproof. It is super windy in our neighborhood as we're near a lake so we did put a paver on top of it to keep it from blowing away. I would recommend this for a cover, it's high quality and works exactly how it should.

D. WhiteD. White: We use this on both a 48" free standing fire pit with legs, AND on a 60" round patio table.
It's amazing, it fits well on both and provides excellent protection. The cover can be cinched to tighten the sizing\fit so it is snug, and it is easy to remove and collapses down into a small bundle for quick storage
They keep the dirt and water out, and provide great protection.
Like anything else out in the sun full-time it will fade and the color will change somewhat over time, but the resulting faded colors look fine. I've provided pics that show one on our patio table (new) and one on the fire pit that is about 8 months old.
Highly recommended.

A Texan 2A Texan 2: Having picked up the Amazon Basics 23.5" round fire pit for my backyard, I found myself in need of a cover to try to maximize the life of my new toy. After some digging and reading reviews, I went with the small Amazon round fire pit cover. Overall, I think it provides good coverage for the main body. It doesn't fit will with the fire pit cover on, but I wasn't expecting it to. I keep the cover in my garage and the rest of the firepit out on my patio with this cover on when I'm not using it. It's been through several rain storms so far. The cover will sink in the middle and collect some water, but it keeps it out of the fire pit - the sand that I have in the bottom stays dry.
There are two straps for the legs at 180° apart. I do have to set them to their maximum size to get them to strap around the legs properly. However, I've not had any issues with them coming loose or the cover blowing off in the wind.
