Amazon Customer: I do not like the much touted "convenience" of folding. Convenient for the maker, not the buyer. Nearly impossible to smooth out. Bought one before rolled - easy to install as opposed to folds.

Clifford Landes: What I needed, was a very short pile, that restricted my chair from free wheeling around while I am at my computer. It's perfect. Chair doesn't wander, but is easily mobile on and off the surface. It is not a carpet. Think pad. It looks and feels like a carpet, but quite thin. I am able to roll off and on almost seamlessly.
And the feared 'glue' on the back is only a tacky surface, that will come up whenever you wish. It is on a wood floor. The color matches the wood. Priced right.

Lara May: This is a fine mat for your office chair. I have laminate floors and I needed this so I wouldn't slide around so much (my floors slant). I did not use the sticky tape to secure as I am renting and did not want to risk it damaging the floor. It slides a bit but it's fine. It is a solid 3 star in my book. You won't r egret buying this but it's not gonna make you swoon.
