Haley: Much better than just letting the milk soak into pads. I put these in my bra as soon as I get up in the morning, and wear while I change and feed the baby. Then when I pump I pump one side at a time, leaving the other side on to catch milk! Way better than a haakaa.

SV: These shells work really well but as an overproducer they don't necessarily hold enough milk that comes out and I end up leaking a bit. They do fit nicely in my bra and clean up easily. You do have to be careful removing them once filled with milk because there's no stopper on the top. Overall, for the price it's not bad and does it's job.

susana: I wanted something to catch the drops of let-down on one boob while my little one was nursing on the boob. Originally I had used the Haka pump for this purpose, but it hangs down too far and interrupts with nursing and she kept kicking it off with those active little legs! This has fit the bill. It stays in place by nestling into your bra cup. So while I'm nursing on the L side, for example, I keep the bra cup in place on the right side and slide this in. I usually catch about a half ounce per side -- it all adds up, and it keeps the bra from getting wet with leakiness. I have quit using cotton breast shields/pads almost entirely since buying these. While I was originally only going to use them when nursing, now I keep them on most of the day, and it allows me to catch the early drops as I start to get full again and close to a next feeding (but if she's still asleep and not ready yet). I've been "nursing on demand" and this has been invaluable. Important to keep the little hole up at the top. The one thing is you have to be careful not to bed over (ex. to empty dishwasher) or you will drip out the top and get your shirt wet. What I do is just try to keep an empty bottle nearby...
