Jake O'Lantern: I bought this specifically because I was having trouble removing green spot algae from the walls of my aquarium.

This nifty little razor-on-stick took it off like a knife through butter. You could get the exact same results with just a razor blade, but you'll but up to your elbows in your tank for a while. This little gadget made it quick, convenient, and actually kind of fun. It's so satisfying watching that muck come off the sides of your tank!

Amazon Customer: I was using a razor blade by hand for along time with my tank, I wish I would be spent the $12 and bought this long ago. I HIGHLY recommend ordering this you won’t be disappointed.
The ONE con I have is the handle will sometimes unscrew lose if you are cleaning at an odd angle, it’s really not a big deal but something I noticed.

PL: This thing is seriously a pleasure to use for removing algae. Watching algae peel off like a green cloud is addictive.

Handle is metal. Knurling is nice. The part that holds the blade is plastic but the screws have metal sockets so you won't break the plastic securing the blade.

If you've been dreading cleaning algae and need the tool to help break your procrastination, this is it.

Nicole: I’ve been keeping fish for over 6 years now and have used a lot of different glass cleaning tools. While they all work in their own ways, this is the only tool I have come across that cleans my tanks easily, with detail and doesn’t get my hands/arms wet. I also don’t have to put so much pressure into scrubbing algae off my glass like I do with sponges. It also comes with disposable razors so you can replace them when it starts to get dull.

“Doodle” Mom: This works great removing algae from 55 gal aquarium tank glass. I like long handle so my hand doesn’t get wet plus the blade head can angle to stay flat on surface. I don’t have to take tank light lid off to even clean back tank surface. So far very pleased!

Sylvain: The blade makes all the difference. It’s not the usual square razor blade. This one is larger with rounded corners. I used to have to scrape up and down many times over an algae spot before it as cleaned. With this scrapper all it takes is one scrape and the algae is gone. Only thing I am not fond of is the tilt angle screw mechanism that seems somewhat weak/flimsy to me.
