I assumed I was buying the brush with 30 extra blades. All I got was blades, no scraper cleaner.

Andrew: I didn't think anything could tackle the hard buildup that accumulated inside one of my tanks. I tried using a magnet brush, a Doby sponge, a turkey baster scrub brush (which has always been used for tank maintenance), and even tried to pick it off with my fingernails. After I figured out how to put this product together, I put it in my tank. I was very worried at first that it would injure my fish due to it being a very sharp razor blade but as long as the blade is always fish against the glass, there is no danger to the fish. After the first swipe on my glass I audibly gasped. It's so easy to use and extremely effective!! My fish loved eating the thin layer of algae that was also being scraped off. I used it for the first time several months ago and haven't needed to use it again! Such a great purchase!

Lou Shoes: I really like this cleaning wand. It's 26" length is perfect for my 24" tall 60 gallon tank. The aluminum rod with cross hatching on the handle and fine thread to attach the extension rod is very nice and gives a lowly aquarium scraper a high end precision feel. The razor scraper is very sharp and makes quick work of algae on the glass. One humorous side note on the scraper...an Allen wrench is included for changing blades but the screws are Phillips head. No big deal there, I just thought it was funny.

My complaint with this item is actually it's best feature; the brush attachment. The brush is great for sweeping white sand or brown algae off the rocks. It works like a little dust broom for the tank. The problem is the part that the rod screws into broke after only a few uses...with no stress on the brush either. I could tell as soon as I attached it the first time that the threads weren't threaded correctly. Try as I may, the rod always threaded onto the brush at the wrong angle, thus resulting in it's early failure.

EDIT: The seller refunded the full amount of my purchase so I feel more than satisfied. I was able to patch the little brush satisfactorily...for now....
