Rachel Anschuetz: Remember those old national geographic rock tumblers? They had the red barrel and barely held anything? That's the rock tumbler I had before this one.

When I read that this rock tumbler was "suitable for use indoors," I called bull. I plugged it in outside where I was sure to not hear it ruckus and only put a few rocks in the bottom. I followed the instructions on how to proceed with setup and went forth expecting leakage and excessive noise.

Imagine my shock when this rock tumbler did neither! It hardly made any noise and no leaks anywhere.

I regularly fill the barrel 2/3 of the way and am always amazed with the product I have after a few days. It seems nothing is too much for it. The finished product is always spectacular! The noise is always minimal.

I'd have no problem buying this again. If anyone wants a "starter" tumbler, I cannot recommend this one enough.

Lehman: It’s an awesome little tumbler. Trying to improve the good vibes in my house with the power behind each stone. Comes with a little booklet that lets you know how long to tumble per stage. If you want an opinion on what they could have added? The plastic pellets would have been nice but I have some. So it’s great!

rilletdumans: commandé pour remplacer le rock tumbler "starter kit" de national geographic, acheté en 2017 (donc faible durée de vie au final), dont le tonnelet avait le caoutchouc percé de partout avec l'usure.
Dont le tonnelet spécifique paraissait ni remplaçable (où le trouver en "pièce détachée" ?), ni à nouveau réparable; déjà trop déformé par des rustines (dommage parce que la base moteur était encore bonne, et économe en courant).

Donc ce modèle me semblait bien, car si le tonnelet venait à s'user, il semblerai qu'un tonnelet assez standard, comme ceux de marque Lortone; petit modèle, (pièces détachées trouvables plus facilement, taille presque identique) puisse aller sur la base.

Voici ce que je peux dire après quelques jours d'utilisation :

-économique en courant, comme les "national geographic", (beaucoup plus économe qu'un lortone; qui fait aussi "chauffage d'appoint").
-les perfectionnements électroniques; décompte de jours, vitesse réglable ; avec une vitesse minimum assez lente :très bonne pour les finitions, fonction "pause" assez pratique pour regarder le contenu sans perdre le décompte des...
