BhattiBhatti: The media could not be loaded. Was very pleased after 1st use, removed clogged hairs amazingly well. After a couple of months, tried to use again but the wire was twisted. Customer service send a free replacement however the wire of the 2nd unit also got twisted. Was not able to use more than 2~3 feet of wire. The customer service is amazing but quality of the products I tried is poor.

Claudia: Definetly saved me some dollars as my last option was to call a plumber. My kitchen drain was clogged and I tried everything : Siphon, Chemical product, Vinegar and baking soda; nothing did the trick. I used this and now it's finally unclogged. Read the instructions because the first time I tried it I was using it wrong. After reading the instructions I was able to go all the way to 25 ft deep. Absolutely worth it.

SubiegirlSubiegirl: Love the drainsoon! Fit into my kitchen sink drain with a minimal amount of work. I moved into my place 5 years ago. Sink always ran a bit slow, kept using draino and it helped a bit until it finally clogged completely. Cranked it a good 12 times clockwise and pulled out all 7 straws and gunk. Water immediately went down. I guess previous owners though straws would go down. Drainsoon saved me from opening the pipes or calling a plumber.

Dave B: I bought this to clear a plumbing vent stack. It's tough enough to survive falling off the roof of a bungalow! The end of the cable wasn't securely attached inside the mechanism and I almost lost it down the pipe. I'll be adding some paint a couple of feet from the end of the wire as a visual warning that the end is near.

patricianpatrician: You got a sink that isn't draining, it's a sink you can live without for a few days otherwise you wouldn't be looking online for a deal, spending time reading reviews. You're thinking you can save a few bucks going with a cheap snake for this one clog, so why spend extra for a home improvement store snake? It's just one clog, after all this snake only needs to get the wife's hair (or yours, you lucky dog) out of the drain 3 ft in, shouldn't be bad right?. So you order this snake! Once it arrives you immediately regret the cheap plastic construction, the metal wire seem as flimsy as it can be. The screw keeping the wire in is one good tug away from disappearing for days until you step on it barefoot one day going in for your morning leak. Oh and don't go too deep! You'll have to fish the wire out too! It lunges out if you go the 25ft. But you think to yourself "I've already waited long enough for this thing and the wife is not pleased having a sink down for a week already. She might call a plumber soon if you don't man up and get to it and then it will really cost you. So you get to work, you put those green and white gloves on and get to snaking. Trying to keep dinner in you look...

Maritza D.Maritza D.: My reason for purchasing:
I live on the first floor of a six floor apartment complex, so the water pipes of the different apartments are all connected. Now while I am careful and don't dump materials or food down my sink drains, I can't control what the other people in this apartment complex throw down there sinks. This past year alone (especially since the pandemic and people staying home more) I started having frequent clogged drain issues. The blockage got so bad that the water from my kitchen sink was popping up in the bathroom sink. I was getting sick of spending so much cash on drain cleaning products, and plumbers. After I observed enough plumbers and noticed what they did seemed to help out the most, I decided to try do it myself and bought this 25ft Drainsoon Plumber Snake.
What arrived:
The 25ft Drainsoon Plumber Snake package comes with a Drainsoon user guide, Drainsoon glove bag, gloves, 25ft 1/4" drain snake cable, and the Drainsoon Professional Drum Auger. (You can generally see the stuff in the pictures I provided. Minus the length of the snake cable which is inside the drum, but trust me after using it is definitely 25ft in length.)

E. Mcpherson: It’s not bad with the exception of the end piece will not fit down at least 1/2 if my drains. Because the opening going into the tub is not wide and the end portion that helps pull out the hair and gunk is so much larger then the cable and the opening-bottom line I couldn’t use it.
That applies to showers and other drains too. The only way you can use this if you have a narrow opening is to take your sink apart at the elbow and snake it from there.
Honestly that makes it almost impossible for many people to use it. I still gave it a decent review because of the questions asked. It is sturdy, it isn’t bad for the price when you can get it into an opening large enough, but for ease of use that’s a difficult question considering if the opening is wide enough it’s easy, but if the opening isn’t wide enough then it’s not useful at all.
I wish the makers gave you an option to change out the end piece for those super skinny areas. But they don’t.
With all that said I would save your money and buy the super cheap plastic stick version. At least that type of sink gunk remover will fit down the narrow openings into my sinks and tubs. For the record, even...

Marek M.: I bought it last year and used it today for the first time. Goes into pipe without problem. The problem is that I bought 25 feet line and for some reason it seem to be short, so I measured it and it is only 21.5 feet. Did not unplug the blockage, and I am not happy as I have to order another, longer one. Would 3.5 feet make a difference? I don’t know, but it should not be advertised as 25 feet auger as it is way shorter.
