XiaoXiao: I like eating them very much. They have a strong ginger flavor and are soft and chewy. Chewing two after a meal helps digestion and relieve stomach discomfort. The taste of ginger candy is wonderful and it is addictive. This is my second purchase and I will buy it again.

GloriaGloria: The media could not be loaded. My whole family enjoys these. If the Ginger Chews weren’t individually wrapped, we would be eating them by the handful, especially my 13 year old.
We like this kind of ginger flavor. It’s not like the strong flavor of real ginger. It’s like a muted version with the right balance of sweetness.
I know some people who are more sensitive to ginger. One friend said it was too tart for her. But most people like it. There is another flavor with mango, which is less gingery and more sweet and also delicious.
The texture is chewy but they do soften in the mouth. I was trying to think of a candy for comparison, and I think Charleston chew or Riesen caramels have a similar chewy factor- but these ginger chews are more gummy.
I know an elderly couple who love them and eat one after dinner to aid “digestion.” Ginger is said to help with nausea and stomach upset. I sent a bag to my anxious nephew at college to quell his stomach as he adjusts to his new life.
