Judith: Does the job, my budgie seems to like it and the size is good.
Only issue is one of the hooks came kinda slanted and had to twist it back in place, not sure how sturdy it’ll be after a while.

Jerry SchwartzJerry Schwartz: The ladder is natural color so if my birds chew on it as they do I know they are not getting toxins. I have parrotlets in flight cages and the ladder fits perfect, the birds love to climb up to there perch rather then fly up. These ladders are good for any small bird such as Love Birds, and budgies and of course my parrotlets. I would recommend these for any small bird parent.

Tasnuba Tabassum: When I first got this for my budgies, it was love at first sight. They really enjoy going on this ladder. The only issue I had was placing the ladder in my cage. You had to kind of turn the hooks in order for me to place it but it wasn't that hard. It was also find of flimsy since there were only hooks from the top. Although, it's not a big of a deal.

Anonymous: but the next morning my two conures had chewed off the top of where one of the hooks was. it’s still in cage but not sturdy because they bit off that one side.

Cindy H: Pre Sanded smooth, large hooks capable of adjustment to smaller perches, or to bars / craft stands. Great Starter for birds 13 weeks old & up - FUN to see their scrutiny and first attempts. Quality construction.
I have received my re order of these 7 inch perches. My Parrotlet likes one leaned against a long rung inside the cage, another outside to exit the cage. One new is now in the larger cage for this 10 month old & the other one exits the kitchen sink after splashing up a bath. Finally, ladder gives bird bath bravery - no more spraying with water, yaye.

TatianaTatiana: I bought this ladder to place in my baby parakeet/budgie’s cage so that they can use it to play and I did not expect how much she would use it on a daily basis. Her wings are clipped and she is only a month old so she is not confident hopping from perch to perch on her own so I often find her using this instead to travel up and down her cage when I’m not able to help her. The ladder itself is of good quality and is a great height for a pretty tall cage and has hooks which can be used to keep it in place. It’s a great product that I highly recommend.

Karen S. Garvin: I ordered this ladder for my two cockatiels to replace an older one that is in rough shape. I figured once the new ladder arrived I'd toss the older one, but I did hang on to it for a few days. Good thing, too. When this pristine new ladder arrived I wasted no time putting it on top of their cage with the carnival cage topper for them to enjoy. Well, within one minute -- no kidding -- Peachfuzz chewed on one of the legs. Within a few days there were huge hunks gobbled out of one of the legs (just one, he's quite particular for some reason). The other bird, Zim, just sits and watches.
Well, it's only three weeks later. One leg is chewed through from about mid-point, and yesterday it fell off. Neither bird has chewed the rungs, which are still intact. For the cost of the toy I can't complain too much, but jeez, birds. Can't you keep from chewing it up for at least a whole month?
This is not a failure of the product. Birds chew on things, and I'd much rather spend $6 a month replacing a chew toy than have them discover my furniture. This was chewed on more than the other ladder, which is one of the colorful ones. I'm not sure if that means anything or is a coincidence,...

Vickie C: For the price, this is a well made sturdy little bird ladder. I did do one thing though, I rubbed linseed oil into the wood - no linseed oil won't hurt birds, in fact it's good for them. I give it 5 stars, but the jury is still out on what my cockatiel JJ thinks about it. Initially JJ fussed at it and avoided it, today he's been getting closer to it and giving it the once over, but he hasn't touched it yet, not that I've seen anyway. I placed it so it rests across the space between two perches, one perch being lower than the other. Right now he's sitting underneath it looking up at it. That's progress I think.
