Strangedos: Well made, attractive and durable. Fits my Mora Robust, 511 basic, Kansbol and Garberg. If the company ever made a model with a holder for the Mora style ferro rods that would be awesome.

BassBass: The leather seems pretty good and it seems like it would be durable but there are a couple little issues and one major flaw, which is why I gave it 4 Stars.

1. The logo on the sheath is Not of the Owl (as pictured) but of some sort of 'Aztec Eagle'.
2. There are visible marks on the leather around where the rivets are, from the punch tool.
3. There is NO drain hole on the bottom!

I will be returning this because of the lack of a drain hole. I don't see how I can make one without having to re-stich it, which is a real shame because otherwise it's very much worth the $20!

D. BakerD. Baker: Although the Mora Companion comes with a completely adequate sheath, it's utilitarian and pretty boring. After reading all the reviews on the H&D offering I figured it was worth a shot. I'm quite pleased with the results. The sheath arrived quickly and by all accounts it looks to be very well made. The leather is thick and has good color. There's only a single row of stitching along the seam, but coupled with the five rivets it should be very secure. It would be nice if there was a plastic track inside to provide protection from the Mora' sharp edge, but with some care on my part hopefully it won't be a problem. Overall the fit is good but the retention was a bit lacking, even after doing some wet molding. As a result I put a couple of pieces of adhesive backed cork tape inside, which grips the Mora's handle well and feels more secure. I also didn't care for the size of the belt loop, which flopped around a bit on my 1.5" wide belt. I fixed that by putting in another rivet above the original.
All in all, a fine upgrade for a fine knife. And it has a 101 year warranty! I wish I did.

KevinKevin: Bought this for a 4-inch blade Casstrom No.10 Swedish Forest Knife I made from kit. Leather is gorgeous and looks like the real thing as far as I can tell (there are natural wrinkles and blemishes which is indicative of full-grain leather). With the dark Bourbon Brown colour, the H&D logo is not too pronounce and doesn't distract from the good looks of the leather, especially after applying a good coat of leather conditioner (I use a homemade beeswax and flaxseed oil conditioner). Slight downside is the the belt strap is permanently riveted on, so for quick attaching/detaching you're going want to get something like a carbineer or detachable accessory strap/clip for it. For less than $30 CAD, I really can't complain about this sheath - looks and feels great on my belt.

On a side note, this sheath was meant for smaller Mora knives, and the thick handle on my knife was was a bit too big (measures 3.75 inches around) to fit in the sheath as is. To get around this, I soaked the sheath under hot tap water for a few seconds (you don't want to overdo it) to soften the leather, than push my knife into the sheath to stretch and reform it to fit.
