John Schmitz: I basically like the device, it is easy to set up. However the three tripod legs splay out with even a moderately heavy device. I used a hand-held spotlight weighing no more than about 2 pounds. I was unable to locate a stiffening or locking adjustment for the legs.

NikonEsque: I am a hobbyist photographer and have accumulated a lot of photographic equipment, including five tripods (my wife is also a photographer). All but two of them are full-size platforms; a couple are expensive carbon-fiber models. As much as I like them they are overkill for shooting video or with my phone, which I use when I don't want to be bothered with hauling around a lot of gear. I have an extension rod/selfie stick but even it can be more than needed. So, I went on the hunt for a small tabletop tripod and found this model. I'll be honest--I wasn't expecting a product as good as I received for the low cost.
This Qubo tripod's quality is better than I expected. The legs consist of two parts: inner, machined aluminum legs covered by plastic, extendable legs that provided a bit more height and more stability with a wider footprint. They lock pretty firmly with the red button. The lower deck consists of small platform with a standard 1/4-20 screw for use with virtually all cameras and phone holders and two settings for the legs.
