ConceptressConceptress: This is a great price for a huge bottle of food coloring!
My issue stemmed from trying to dye Rice Krispies Treats. I had to use a LOT to get anything more than a pastel color. That meant that there was a lot more liquid in my Rice Krispies treats, so they ended up pretty sticky instead of “solid” like you want them to be.
The green food coloring itself didn’t alter the taste, which I really appreciated. I still have a lot left in the bottle, so I’ll have to figure out something else to make with it that either is ok to be pastel green, or is a water-based recipe.
It might just be perfect to turn a lot of beer green for St. Patty’s day. 😂

The recipe said coloring is optional, but that's just nuts.

Deanna: Most of the time I use a gel food coloring depending on what I have planned but I have become a true fan of the Dyecraft liquid coloring (especially the green and blue). The amount you get for the price can not be matched by most other brands. The quality is superb for most of my projects and it lasts a long time.
