RB Kendrick: Grows well after good watering. The chickens love it. A little pricey for such a small bag, but the variety of seeds was excellent.

Kindle Customer: I grow it in shallow trays which gives chicks and ducklings easy access. They devour it, dirt and all.

MotherNature01: I fenced off a section of the run, loosened the dirt, and planted and watered. As the plants grew the hens reached in as far as they could to eat the plants. I let them grow big and tall before opening up the planted area. They loved it and ate most of the greens. They still prefer sheltering among the remaining plant stalks. I just wish I had more space to make successive plantings around the run. Without fencing it off they surely would have eating the seeds and seedlings right away. Can't actually vouch for flavor but the chickens like it. I have leftover seeds for spring.
