Morris: Zur Nutzung in Aquarien kann ich leider nicht viel sagen, allerdings konnte ein anderes Problem durch die Aktivkohle behoben werden.

Ich hatte regelmäßig mit dem Problem zu kämpfen, dass mein Katzenklo mit der Zeit anfängt zu riechen. Nachdem ich mehrere Varianten von Geruchsüberdeckenden Pulvern probiert hatte, wurde mir empfohlen, Aktivkohle zu verwenden.
Und siehe da, das Katzenklo riecht nun keinen Meter mehr. Einfach einen Teil der Aktivkohle mit dem Katzenstreu vermischen und schon haben die üblen Gerüche keine Chance mehr.

Es versteht sich von selbst, dass das Klo trotzdem regelmäßig gereinigt werden muss. Allerdings eignet es sich hervorragend, um die üblen Gerüche zumindest zeitweise zu überdecken.

Amazon Customer: Ever since I got a bigger fish tank I've been using these carbon filter in my filtration system. They work really well and I've had no issues. I know that on the box they say to change the carbon filter every 4 weeks but sometimes I forget to do that and I've never had any trouble with algae or cloudy tanks. Just make sure that the size of the filter is compatible with your filter system before ordering!

R C Bennett: I used this in my pond filter. Works as it should all good.
GA e 4 stars not 5 as the bag is in the large container and when you try to remove it it is partly buried and a load of carbon goes on the floor.
The bag is very big. I guess big enough for 800g but I want to use it 90g at a time. So there's a lot of extra bag to try and keep control of when loading into the filter.
Other than that it's all good.

Lash like a Boss: Before buying these filter inserts, I was struggling to keep our 20 gallon tank clean. Algae would start to build up after a few days. The day after putting one of these bags in the filter, I was astonished at how crystal clear the water was! Not only that, we were having an issue with white mold starting to grow in the tank and the day after using this, it was completely gone! And guess what… it’s been about two weeks and the water is still crystal clear! I’m seriously amazed and so happy because I was getting really discouraged and was ready to give up being a fish owner. So happy.
