fgs: Why did I wait so long? My only input is to attach the 22 Pin to 8 Pin wiring harness to the mirror FIRST, before you mount it. The mirror wiring receptacle "floats" and is difficult to connect to, once it it mounted. My driver side wires were way too short. I had to reach down into the mirror casing to connect the harness. I'm guessing it wasn't routed correctly at the factory.

Otherwise, the install was a breeze. The temperature sensor and upper power mirrors both work. (The lower mirrors are manually adjusted.) The turn signal lights are a bonus! I'm assuming that the heated mirrors will also work. The other (puddle) lights don't work, but my old mirrors didn't have them. I'm sure there's a way to wire them separately, should I want to.

The lower convex mirrors let me see an entire car while it is nowhere to be seen in the upper mirror. I no longer have to turn my head to check my blind spot every time I switch lanes. This is a HUGE increase in safety and peace of mine. ...and I haven't even enjoyed using them to tow my trailer yet.

WHWH: 9/24 update: received and installed no problems, everything works fine. A couple things to note: it’s 8-pin with an adapter (comes with) but the adapter is only wires with no loom or harness shielding. There’s better adapters out there if you want to go that route which I did. The mirrors themselves are great looking and sturdy when properly mounted. It comes with new locknuts too. All together seems a solid product. I hope they consider making the adapter better and go ahead and put the connector ends on instead of the stripped wires off the 22 pin side. I guess it’s about price but just so you know what you’re getting into. If anything crazy happens in the next 6 months or so I’ll update.

Part of me making this choice was delivery because I wanted to do this on my day off. It happens so often with Amazon they’ve established a pattern so I’ve decided to use this as a tool. If the seller would like to complain that Amazon’s poor delivery performance to what they said at the time of making the sale is hurting their review scores that would be best. I’ll update from this once it arrives in the new 3 day arrival window they have after it was out for delivery...

Izuk: The mirrors fit pretty well on the truck but they are definitely not OEM fitment. Wider field of view is nice and I have not observed any shaking after 10k miles.

I would recommend to anyone who needs the extra width for a trailer.

Chris: I did a lot of research and looking around for the right tow mirrors for my truck. Pretty much everything I found had reviews where people reported shaking and vibration. I have the clip on mirrors for my stock ones and they vibrate so bad at highway speeds that I can’t even see out of them. So I decided to give these a try.

First off, installation was super easy. Maybe 20 minutes total. Plug and play. Much easier than other trucks where you have to take the whole door panel off. Then I took them for a test drive at highway speeds. They hold up very well. There is some vibration when I hit a bump and there is a little vibration above 65 mph but it’s very minimal and does not impede my ability to see out of the mirrors. The stock mirrors have a little vibration at these speeds too and I’d say these mirrors are very slightly worse. Not even enough for me to notice. Considering the size of these mirrors and how much further they stick out, it can probably be contributed solely to that. I’m not sure the OEM tow mirrors would perform much better honestly and these are plenty good for use. Considering the price, these are excellent. No complaints at all.

Could the mirrors be a little some more solid and shake less certainly, but do the mirrors do their job as needed absolutely. Installation of straightforward and the instructions are solid. I was a little disappointed in the lighting that’s built into it and what it’s able to do, however I’m sure some of that is just the wiring that is available in my particular model of F150 truck.
The construction and building mounting on these mirrors is solid for what it is, plastic. My disappointment is the two mounting arms that allow you to extend and retract...

Amazon Customer: Installed easily, temp sensor works, no engine check light, no noticeable vibrating at 100KM. But the LED's in forward facing strip doesn't light, only the two rear facing LED tips works. I have found reply from in YouTube that the strip LED's are fed from auxiliary wire instead of 8 pin. But this is a surprise to me and I do see them light up in the YouTube video. No reply yet from Seller. This is the only concern so far.
