M & D Feingold: Not sure if this wad a returned item because the chain. Was already attached and ready to use. It looked brand new. Battery was charged and it took it out and used it immediately. Worked like a charm. Cut right through branches and limbs 1-3 inches in diameter with ease. Will have to see if it continues. As of now I would highly recommend.

Kevin M: Ok so I haven't actually used it on tree or limbs yet (Minnesota). But I did have to install a new bathroom ceiling fan and the original was smaller than the replacement. So instead of looking for the right tool for the job I grabbed this! And it worked great! HA! Now I'm looking for other things I can use it on besides what I originally bought it for, branches.

erubi: Light weight, easy to use. Battery lasts a long time. 4 stars because I wish it had a case. And no mention of chain maintenance, ie oiling.

justagirl: Honestly, I expected this to not do much. Happily surprised to find it can be a little workhorse! It's a small engine, it rattles and vibrates a bit, but it also really works. It's not going to cut down any trees, but for sucker limbs, berry vines too big for nippers, etc it's a pretty handy dandy tool. Battery life so far has been pretty good. It's not a Stihl that's for sure, but it's way quicker and handier than using pruning shears. Kinda having fun with it!. That was my first review. ............ Here is my second several months later. ....... I am seriously finding this thing so handy! I've used it for all kinds of things. I'm surprised how long the batteries last and what I can do with it. Keep your chain oiled frequently. If using heavily every 15 minutes or so (a bit annoying but hey the price)... I also hand sharpen my chains and have bought new ones to trade out when I want to work without stopping. For light fence clearing, branch removal etc It's purdy darn handy.

Amazon Customer: I am 72 year old woman and can not use a standard chain saw as it is too heavy for me. I bought this to cut small dead branches off my trees and for routine pruning. It is very light and easy to use. I found that it shredded the tiny branches that I typically cut easily with a small hand pruner, but did a terrific job on slightly larger branches that I would normally have to use a lopper for. As a result I could do the more difficult limb pruning so much easier and faster. I got tired of pruning before even the first battery wore out, so for me it is more than adequate. I was pleasantly surprised that it was better on the harder jobs. I really like it and find that my husband, age 80, is now taking it with him as he walks our property.
