Portable Propane Gas Tankless Hot Water Heater for Camping and Outdoor Use by Camplux

WirelessGuy: I replaced a similar tankless hot water device with this one in my barn because I did not drain the old one before the hard freeze set in. I could not repair the "old" one (it was less than 6 months old). The old one provided an abundance of hot water, but this one provided only a little. I liked the adjustability of this unit, but either the water came out barely warm or if I restricted the water flow, I got a trickle of warm-ish water. I called tech support (an area superior to the old unit who had no desire to provide contact information) and they told me to back flush the system. I did that but got no change in the results. I find it hard to recommend the unit and I am fairly certain that the problem does not reside with me.

Kindle Customer: We use this shower outside all summer and it works really well- strong water pressure, heats up with no problem. I had an issue with my heater at the beginning of summer and customer support was responsive and super helpful.

S.L.S.L.: This almost burned down my home after approximately 5 uses (see photos). Installed correctly according to instructions. I use it to augment my hot tub heater in cold temps. Turned this on, made sure this was working properly. Went inside for a few minutes. Looked outside to see smoke and flame coming from the wall of my garage. Pulled it off the wall to find that it had burned a hole in the wall. 2-3 more minutes and my garage would have been on fire.

Serious fire risk! Needs immediate product safety recall. Recommend that anyone with this unit discontinue use immediately. Will be reporting to CPSC. There is no way this unit should cause a fire after 5 uses and correct installation.

Visible burn marks all over the unit (see photos).

Manufacturer should contact me immediately and suspend sales.

(Not a user error issue. I have nearly 20 years of experience as a professional firefighter and am a skilled carpenter).

Candie P: I am absolutely in love with this unit as I'm RV living. I installed myself zero issues doing so. My only problem is customer service they gave a number that repeats itself then hangs up. Let's not get started on their emailing capabilities uh! I have a few questions I'd like to ask them.....Yes I would definitely purchase again and again!

Ekaterina V. Mcbride: Easy to set up, good flow rate in the spray nozzle, good heating capability. It came with the wrong garden hose attachment so I emailed the service address in the manual, they responded quickly and shipped me the right fitting quickly. Very responsive and good customer service!
