Charles: Works great and fits our needs. It is mostly used for our outdoor movie theatre, easy to move around, great volume levels before distortion kicks in and has sufficient audio clarity. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound as most of the types of speakers tend to have too much distortion at lower volumes, but not this speaker.
The battery lasts forever and I don't believe it has ever ran out while we were using it.
The kids LOVE karaoke! Having two mics is definitely an experience! We are considering ordering another as apparently you can connect two of these together.

A-Lo: We received our first one, but had to return it. It had a very high pitched whistle that would start shortly after use and we could not get it to stop. It was pretty terrible. However, I returned that one and decided to give it another try. I am glad that we did b/c the new one works very well and I am happy with it. The only other downside is the return process. I was refunded for the original purchase price. I reorder the next day, but the price had gone up a little over $6. Then, when I got the new one, the price had dropped back down to what I had originally paid. Yes, it was just $6, but I wish I could have just had the item replaced rather than being out the additional cost.
