Nancy (Boltuc) Westecott: It is very spacious inside and we really like the window clasps.
The only thing we don’t like is the carrying bag because it’s so hard to get the blind into it after folding down it needs a zipper in the bag and pegs could be stronger as they are not the greatest they bend very easy

Engine10: Looks like good value
Tons of room
Basically a good design but the window toggles are exceptionally fiddly and frustrating to handle.
Magnet closures would be my choice
We’ll see how long the door zipper lasts.

Hugo D.: Nice blind. Very roomy. Camo pattern helps it blend perfectly in the woods. Would prefer zipped windows instead of wood pins.

David BarnesDavid Barnes: Ardisam (Barronett Blinds) sells this as a waterproof blind. The material is waterproof, but it is the design that defeats this. The windows attach on the INSIDE of the blind and are open in the bottom. So that all of the water that rolls down the roof and down the wall and the window screen is funnelled to the bottom of the window directly into the blind. It makes a wet muddy mess. The water does not only drip down the walls - but also drips right in without even touching th walls - which the attached photo does not show as well as the water running down the walls. Any breeze makes the problem worse. The company representative suggested I spray flex shield on all shelter seams. They clearly could not understand the issue. It is the design that funnels water INTO the blind - not leaky seams. So far I have got no where with them. The material seems waterproof - but the design has a major error in it. How could the designers miss this. Simple. Don't design to flow water inside the blind. It makes for a muddy wet and icy, loud (if it freezes afterword) mess inside! I have 3 other blinds by Primos and others. Nothing allows water in like a Barronett Big Cat. Don't buy it unless you...

shihtzumom: I just hunted in this a few days ago and it’s awesome. It’s nice and roomy inside. I have a stake bow holder that goes into the ground and holds my bow nicely, a chair and that’s about it. There is plenty of room to move around if you want. I can stand up and shoot when a deer comes by which is much better than having to kneel like my old blind. The windows are great for shooting through - I don’t leave the netting up - so the window is open. However, the lower windows are great for leaving the netting up and just looking to see if any deer are nearby.
It’s just a very sturdy blind, made well and like I mentioned, very roomy.
When my husband I and I set it up, I went into it and he looked from the outside and said he couldn’t see me. I was standing towards the back looking out with no face mask. I wanted to see for myself, and sure enough, when he went in and I looked to see if I could see him in there, I thought he was kidding around and ducking down out of view, but he wasn’t, he was standing right there, but I couldn’t see him. So the deer will not see you. Now whether they smell you or not is up to you, lol. We use Atsko laundry and Atsko scent free spray...

Kindle Customer: easy setup. worked great. The only think is I noticed some of the coating flaking off on the inside. Used a black permanent to fill in the areas where the black coating had fallen off.

Mr. or the Mrs.: All I probably have to tell you is my kids are already tired of me saying "I love this blind" every time I stand up to stretch. I am 6'2" and when I stand there is a few inches of clearance still above my head.
We have had this blind in the woods for 3 weeks and have already shot a deer from it. It is me and my 2 sons (9 &11) inside the blind and I could not be happier. We had been using a supposed 3 man blind for the past 2 years with a height of around 54". Last year was my breaking point and I added this to my cart last December but hemmed and hawed for 10 months whether it was worth the cost. It is worth every penny. Anyone that hunts with kids knows you need enough room to lay down, play video games, eat more food than you can carry.....there is room for all of that and for Dad to hunt.
Very well constructed, easy set-up and take down with a bag you can wear as a backpack if you are tall enough. The windows opening with loops is a dream come true and on a morning like this morning with the wind hollowing you can block so much wind just buy undoing the loops you need. The window screen material has a camo pattern on it that blocks all visible movement inside....

Garret Anderson: Quality blind right here with a ton of room and space. The walls are very durable waterproof fabric with plenty of windows. Still getting used to it as far as which windows I like to hunt with open. If you’re sitting down and only have the top window open, don’t plan on seeing anything. Opening the lower windows is a must if you want to sit and see anything or shoot. I did find it kind of difficult to find an area where I could post it up, but where I hunt has a lot of hills and uneven terrain. Only downsize with the bigger footprint is that it made it difficult to completely sit flush with the ground. Zipper was also kind of loud, but heavy duty. I’d buy it again.
Edit: After hunting out of this blind several times, I still really like it. The biggest con I have is the large base area of the blind makes it difficult to keep the entire blind completely flush with the ground. The stakes are definitely too flimsy for the size/weight of the overall blind. I came back a week later after a little storm and the wind picked the whole blind up and ripped all of the secured stakes out of the ground and moved it probably 10 yards away from where I had it secured

The Northwoods RV Life: I have owned alot of popup blinds over the years, mostly Ameristep and have loved them. I hadn't heard of Barronett until a few years ago when they came out with the Big Mike blind. I was looking for a large blind for 2-3 people so I started to look at Barronett. I cannot stress enough the quality construction of this product. I received it quickly in two days with amazon prime. As soon as I received it I was impressed even by the bag it comes in that is more of a canvas material with an awesome zipper instead of just a cheap nylon bag. I ordered the grassy camo pattern as I was setting it up beside a food plot in tall grass and the camo pattern is perfect for what I was looking for. The zippered corner unzips all the way to the bottom of the blind and detaches the end of the zipper unlike the ameristeps I've had that always had a stitch in the bottom of the zipper giving you something to trip over trying to get into the blind. Inside the blind one becomes even more impressed, this thing is amazing for a popup blind. So many window configurations one can lose count and the inside of this thing is huge!! I am 6'2" and I can easily stand up and stretch or shoot a bow standing up....

Chris LarsenChris Larsen: This is exactly what I needed! I’m 5’11” and can stand up straight with room leftover. My only regret is that I was only in it for 20 minutes opening day before I successfully hit my deer! Good problem to have! I look forward to many successful deer seasons in the future. Quality material, easy to set up and take down. Door zipper could be more quiet. I’ll eithe wax it or hit it with a little W-D 40 next time.
