paugello: I have several hunting blinds. The set up of one of the other brand names is like a puzzle. You don't want to be dealing with a puzzle in the middle of the woods!! The Barronett Grounder is easy to set up. Pop the walls, then the ceiling, stake it out and you're good to go!! Good product, I highly recommend. A few bucks more, but worth it!

Cheryl Foxworth: The door is the only negative, Twiggy would have a hard time entering this blind. It's a very tight entrance
way to try to get inside. I would give the blind 5 stars if not for the entrance way.

Broc Sabinson: We have been buying Barronett blinds for years. We have several Grounder 350s that we set up throughout our property and now we have a Grounder 250. We bought a 5ft platform from Academy Sports (highly recommend for $249) and the max footprint is 60 x 60. This will work perfectly for our new set-up. There are 2 main reasons why we like the Grounder model blinds. They are built very well and have a thick fabric that lasts. We have never had an issue with any ripping, tearing or other breakdown issues that others listed below. The other reason we like them has to do with the windows. The windows are huge and easy to see and shoot out of. My son and I are very tall (I am 6'4 and he is 6'6) and we never have to duck and turn just to see an area like other blinds. Some would say the big windows don't break up your pattern. Believe me it has never been a problem. I will take big windows over straining my neck any day of the week.
Occasionally, the support rods will get tangled and the only way to fix it is to take each hub off and re-align them. It is not difficult once you do it. Most blinds that get tangled up are not repairable, but this is completely easy to get back to normal....

Brent H: Really nice blind, much roomier than my previous blind, and much easier to set up and take down. Had my doubts about the whole "hub" thing, not having seen one in real life until after I actually got my blind and set it up, but was really impressed.

Three things I was impressed with were:

How the hub allows the blind to be slightly wider in the middle than at the base; because I was confused by the dimensions given, which seemed to contradict one another, but after I realized this, it made sense.

Second thing that impressed me was that I was concerned that if the blind went up by merely pushing the hubs out until they locked, that a little gust of wind could push them inward collapsing the whole thing. Turns out that it takes a fair amount of effort to pop it out or in, but in addition to help insure that that doesn't happen, the blind is equipped with an eyelet on the outside of every hub so that you can tie a guy wire to prevent that from happening, plus there are staking points on the inside of the blind to anchor the whole thing from going anywhere too.

Aggie CJ: Wow!, fantastic blind. Bought for a hunt at a friends ranch where there were no blinds and expected a little bit of rain. Box was a little beat up when it arrived but blind was in perfect condition. Tried it out inside the house and never looked at directions and it was up in less than a minute. Set it up outside and left it for a few days to air it out and let the vinyl smell go away. Packed it up in less than a minute, took it to hunt and it worked beautifully. I sat in it with my friend and my 12 yr old son. We each had a folding chair and had plenty of room. We were covered up with deer and only got busted when a young doe walked right at us about 30 yd from the blind and saw us. Son shot an axis buck out of it about 60 yds out. For $89 I don't think you can get a better blind. The stitching on top did leak a little but a little strip of vinyl tape would fix that. You can feel the quality and it is sturdy. Everyone at the ranch was impressed with how solid it was and how easy it was to set up and take down.
