Portable Exhaust Vent with 5" Diameter Air Conditioner Hose

Trish: I purchased a new air-conditioner this summer and I needed a new hose this one for me was perfect. I also purchased a plexiglass window (had it made) and now life is perfect, living in an apt where the top portion of the window opens only I’ve spent the last 3-4 yrs duck taping a micky mouse system so that I could keep cool in our new summers. I needed a new hose and this was perfect with the adapter that comes with it, perfect!

Jon B: Bought the clockwise version of this hose to replace a damaged hose on a 10-year-old Homebase TC-8061 airconditioner. It arrived today and I was delighted to find that it fits the unit perfectly, so rest assured if you have the same model, it will fit your A/C unit.

Reason for the replacement is that the original plastic hose (that came with the unit) has finally begun to disintegrate, presumably the result of heat damage, age etc, so we needed a replacement ASAP.

I spent some time researching hoses to make sure I got the right size, the right sturdiness and the right orientation and the new hose fits the unit like a glove and is nice and sturdy too.

More expensive than I was expecting, but in this case it definitely looks like you are getting what you pay for, because it looks super sturdy in comparison to the cheap hoses.

Pen Name: If you have a clockwise adapter then you need a clockwise thread ac hose! If you have a anti-clockwise thread adapter then you need an anti-clockwise thread ac hose! The video is wrong, this is due to how thread type is determined by looking directly at the end, when you go to install the AC house it's rotated 180* which technically reverses the thread based on the new perspective. It's super confusing but I just went through it and I promise this is accurate information!
