Portable Electric Ice Maker - Automatic Self-Cleaning, Countertop Ice Making Machine

Chance: I got this as a replacement for a Frigidaire brand ice maker, which also had a self cleaning option. This one was packaged great! The item shipped fast. The ice maker has specific instructions to wait a bit before turning on (must be room temp, and upright, with time for refrigerant to settle). After that time, I turned the unit on and I thought it was not working based on lights being on, even though I had water in it and followed all directions. I unplugged it, plugged back in and it's been perfect ever since, making a lot of ice! It's quieter than prior ice maker but same basic machine.

Reagan Kosmatine: I probably searched for months for small countertop ice maker in the $100-$200 range with good reviews. It seemed people either loved them, or they would break in a month. I finally decided I just had to gamble and pick one, despite the mixed reviews they all had. I got this as a Christmas gift for my parents last year and since then, the icemaker in their actual freezer has broken a few times and they use this as a backup every time. They PUMP ice out of this thing during those times, and it has held up for them perfectly! I've seen it in action; the ice cubes are a great size and it makes ice surprisingly quickly! Remember that its not going to keep the ice cold so you will either want to use it immediately or transfer it to a freezer. Reviews for these types of appliances seem to be super mixed, but I 100% recommend this ice maker (not to mention, great price point). I hope this helps make your search easier!

Liza Adnan: Received mine faulty and found out its non returnable. Cant get through their support and they never come back to me after leaving messages and wanting refund. Threw it out after a month. Very disappointed and a waste of money!

Kimberly Sue Ort: Honestly I love this ice maker! It’s very convenient, I love having ice whenever I need it. I drink a lot of iced coffee all throughout my days. It is easy to clean, and the ice is clean & tastes great. I recommend completely! You also get a 10$ gift card with your order.

Update: In the seven months that I’ve had this icemaker while maintaining it and keeping it clean it has worked up until about a week ago. It’s only making literally three ice cubes at a time so there is obviously a malfunction somewhere inside the icemaker so needless to say, we aren’t very happy right now, considering we spent a good chunk buying this product. Also Amazon has no option to contact the person I bought this icemaker from. Does anybody know what I can do to get a hold of someone?

lilmama44: I was loving our lil ice machine at first, not having to constantly go to the store for ice was awesome. I ordered it on 9-8-21 but within a few days it stopped working so Amazon/Seller shipped a replacement promptly(delivered on 9-29-21). I have been using it every day or two and the only complaint I really had is that it would still have 1/3 tank of water left but it would stop and I’d have to keep filling to the basket(not a biggie). I have been cleaning the machine 2-3 times a week with vinegar (sometimes bleach on a q-tip in hard to reach areas). Since it had sat for 2 days without making ice (instructions call for cleaning if sitting w/o making ice for more than two days) Inwas cleaning the machine with my normal routine of vinegar & after a bit of bleach on q-tips for hard to reach nooks/crannies. I and noticed the q-tips would have a tan substance while I was drying around the lil hole perforated square price in bottom right corner (where the water gets pulled up through a tube or channel to the top in order to start the ice making process). RossRoss: So.....we downsized our home last year and the home we purchased had room only for a small fridge without an ice maker. Well....I finally bought this one and it was like we won the lottery. This little ice maker has performed exceptionally. It came very well packaged and was simple to set up. We start it up when we make coffee in the morning and shut it off when we go to bed. It makes a surprising amount of ice on a single water add. My only suggestion to future buyers, when you add water, only add to the line under where it says MAX. I was confused the first time and added to the line above and that's too high. If you have any reservations about getting this ice make, don't worry....buy it as it works great and cubes are perfect in each size.
