Lauren Barnett: I bought this one by mistake thinking it was the waffle maker. It works great for little burgers but if your looking for the waffle maker to make the chaffles, you can but they come out different bc this is a grill and not a waffle maker

OhGoddess: Wow I am using the heck out of this little guy, I love it, it is so handy!
- as a doggie momma, most meals I cook are ones that I can share with my furbabies. So when I want garlic and onions in my meals (which I usually do) I can just use this guy to cook them separately and add to my own bowl, keeping the main dish doggie safe for sharing.
- as someone who pays attention to portion control, this 4" grill makes the perfect-sized pancakes and sweets to fit into my diet (by diet I mean general healthy eating habits, not fad diet) overdosing on carbs
- as my animals age I can use this to soften their fave veggie treats of carrots and broccoli which are now a bit too crunchy in the raw for my little dog's teeth, without have to whip out the frying pan.
- I love to make a big pot of soup, and then I use this little guy to grill up a plant protein patty (I'm vegetarian) to add to my bowl, without putting it in the main soup pot where it might get mushy over the 2-3 days that my big soup pots last.
I wasn't sure I would use it a lot, but I am. Definitely a great buy for the price and a handy item to have in the kitchen. Especially great for smaller...

ConsumerST: I bought it to cook in a hotel. I hate when they don't even have a microwave. Now I have a way to cook eggs, packages, full breakfast sandwiches. You can even grill thin slices of meet. Love it. I save so much by not having to go out eat.

Jim's Tech & Music: I bought this in March 2021 after reading several reviews that suggested this appliance was a useful size for one person to cook 1 or 2 eggs, toat a sandwich, make pancakes (1 at a time) and so on. Rarely have I been as disappointed in a purchase as this thing. When it arrived, it turned out to be a bright red finish rather than white. Not a deal breaker, but a warning? I read and followed the instructions prior to 1st use. I very quickly learned several things: the whole case gets hot - I mean searingly, blisteringly hot. It's impossible to open the lid, even using the "handle" without some kind of a burn. I should have returned it there and then - more fool me. This unit does heat up quickly. There's no temperature control, just an indicator light that shows when it's heating (light on) and "at temperature" (light off). I think the first attempt was to cook 1 egg. So, I opened the lid - with tongs - and cracked and egg onto the hot lower plate. It was clearly very hot. I put the lid down for 2-1/2 - 3 minutes, and when I opened it I did indeed have a cooked egg. Kind of messy, but cooked. However, getting the cooked egg out was a nightmare. Since the cooking surfaces have an...

Ellie: Neat little grill. When they say it’s small, they mean it. I made a hamburger and I was more than impressed. It heated really quick! It fit a frozen hamburger patty perfectly (I was worried it was too small) There were no guidelines on how long to cook it for, which is why I gave it four stars. I compared cook times to the turkey burger they had in the recipe book, which was about 8 minutes. Some may have eaten it at that point, I like it well done. So I flipped it (you don’t have to) at 8 minutes then grilled the other side for 3minutes, added cheese for less than a minute. It was perfectly cooked!! So much better than in a fry pan, because you don’t have all that extra oil you’ve had to add to the pain. I obviously unplugged it as soon as I removed the meat. I let it cool down completely and wiped it clean. It was so easy to clean! It’s great for someone on their own, or a student in a dorm. If you’re making more than one hamburger, this isn’t for you. It would take a while, and everyone would be eating at different times.
Overall, I’m really pleased with my purchase. I mean for $20, why not?. We own the Dash donut maker as well. So far, we are happy with the...
