Portable Alarm Clock Radio with Time Projection and AM/FM Pocket Radio Functionality

Pro Diver: It is a small, shirt pocket size digital radio that works great. It has an external speaker, which was one of my requirements, that makes it more versatile. The fact that it is digtal makes it more likely to stay in tune and not change the volume setting as there are no dials to accidentally move, especially if it is in a shirt or jacket pocket. It is easy to tune and set stations and the reception is very good at my location. It would be nice if it retained the set stations when doing a battery change but is easy to reset the stations so it is no issue to me. In order to do that it would require extra circuitry and a capacitor to hold a electical charge or a small watch size battery which would increase the price. For only $12.99 I think that it is a bargain

Ron: I titled this "Awesome for what it is" for a reason. I'm a lifelong radio guy. I own a lot of them. Most cost me over $100, most are multiband and represent the best of the radios out there. CCrane, Sangean, TecSun, Grundig, Sony... these are all brands that you'd find in my home and I'd say all of them are 4-5 star radios.

This little radio is very firmly a 4 star radio, but it is not anywhere near in the same class as those radios. I want to make that clear to the other radio guys out there. But I still do consider it a 4 star radio, so read on and see why.

I bought this radio for one thing, baseball games. I wanted a small, lightweight radio that fits in a shirt pocket so I can listen to the radio broadcast of a game while I'm at the stadium watching it. This radio is perfect for that. It's small, light, and with earbuds (not included) sounds great. I really couldn't ask for more in that regard. For the last couple of years I've been using a CC Witness for that, but I wasn't a fan of carrying around an expensive device, and there's a lot about the Witness as a radio that isn't all that great.

Larry S: This is a great little radio. I like that the FM antenna is actually built into a carrying loop that is not shown in the product picture. Unlike some other tiny FM radios...this one has a speaker too. Works great with 2 rechargeable AAA batteries. The only disadvantage I have found is that all presets (and the time you set) are lost when changing batteries. I even tried quick changing batteries one at a time...no luck....all presets, alarms and set time lost. Not a big deal for me as my smartphone provides my alarms, time, etc. I bought this primarily for FM around the house and it is perfect.....no antenna to extend and break off. No earbuds come with the unit....and buds that cost five times more than this FM radio sound great with it. The radio only weighs about 3oz with batteries and you will barely notice it in a t-shirt pocket. Oh...you can also operate it via the 3volt jack but no power supply is included. As an tiny FM radio....this radio has better reception than my Sandisk Clip. I like it so much I am ordering a second for use with my home theater FM transmitter for hearing impaired visitors.
