D. W. Cottrell: The placement of the "screen" in the hose that connects the portable air conditioner to the window vent differs from the original. The "screen" that accompanied the original air conditioner purchase had the "screen" at the window end of the hose. This Window Kit model has it at the air conditioner end. This may not make a difference but I will wait to see if the hose gathers debris, bugs, etc. between the outside window and the "screen."

S. Godwin: When I bought my A/C unit, it came with a window adapter that couldn't easily be used with my old crank-out casement windows. Each year, I jury-rigged some way to jam it into the open window and fill up the empty space with towels or other materials to "make do".

This year, the plastic "spout" at the end of the hose had deteriorated, so I bought this kit, thinking I'd only use that one part. But when it arrived, I realized I could use the sliders to help fill out the space in the open window. It was pretty easy to figure out how to put the pieces together and I liked how easy it was to adjust the finished width. It didn't even require all of the pieces that were sent, so I'm sure this kit could be used on very wide (or tall) windows.

It works great. I still need to use a rag at the top and bottom of the window, but this is a much better solution that I what I had before. I may order a second and keep it my office to make it easier to move the A/C when I need to.

Jeremy JoJeremy Jo: It was a major bummer when I realized that the stock window kit that came with DeLonghi Pinguino PAC EM370 was too short to fit in my 46" tall window.

After combing through some reviews and seeing positive comments about this particular window kit working well with DeLonghi ACs, I decided to give it a go.

I can confirm that this kit indeed works well with PAC EM370. All I needed to do was take the stock hose attachment with the one included in this kit and everything worked like a charm.

Installation was easy and includee sealing tape was very handy in ensuring a tight seal. While not premium quality, all the parts were sturdy and well fitting.

Happy with the purchase and will recommend!
